Vestil Ergonomic Powered High-Rise Lift Truck

Vestil Ergonomic Powered High Rise Lift Truck

Vestil Ergonomic Powered High-Rise Lift Truck | 3,000 lb, Auto Side Stabilizers, 20" or 27" Forks

The Vestil Ergonomic Powered High-Rise Lift Truck is a battery-powered electric skid lifter designed to raise open-bottom skids, boxes, and baskets to working height. A 12-volt battery with an integrated charger powers the electric lift. Push-button controls provide reliable lift and lower operation.

A standout safety feature is the automatic side stabilizer system: stabilizers engage automatically when the forks are raised above 20-1/2", widening the base footprint to prevent tipping under elevated loads. This automatic engagement requires no operator action and provides a meaningful safety margin during high-lift operations that most skid lifters in this category lack.

With a 3,000-lb capacity, the L-HD series is among the highest-capacity electric skid lifters available at CustomMHS. Poly-on-steel wheels provide smooth mobility across industrial floors. Two models are available, differing only in fork width.

Models and Specifications:

♦ L-220-DC-HD, 20" W, 45" L forks. Travel 3-1/2" to 31-1/2". Capacity 3,000 lbs. 12V battery, integrated charger. Automatic side stabilizers above 20-1/2". Poly-on-steel wheels. Narrower fork for standard entry widths.

♦ L-270-DC-HD, 27" W, 45" L forks. Travel 3-1/2" to 31-1/2". Capacity 3,000 lbs. 12V battery, integrated charger. Automatic side stabilizers above 20-1/2". Poly-on-steel wheels. Wider fork for broader skids and pallets.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Fork width, 20" vs. 27", the L-220-DC-HD uses 20" wide forks for standard skid entry widths. The L-270-DC-HD uses 27" wide forks for wider skids or applications where greater fork spread provides better lateral load stability. Both models are otherwise identical.

♦ Auto side stabilizers and elevated load safety, the automatic stabilizers are particularly relevant for the upper portion of the 31-1/2" travel range, where the center of gravity of a loaded skid is at its highest. Operations that regularly lift loads close to maximum height benefit most from the stabilizer engagement.

♦ 3,000 lb capacity, at 3,000 lb, the L-HD series handles heavier loads than most electric skid lifters in this lineup (most are rated at 2,200 lb). If the application involves loads approaching or at 3,000 lb, this is one of the few electric skid lift options at this capacity at CustomMHS.

♦ Vestil high-rise lift truck vs. other electric skid lifters, the Vestil L-HD distinguishes itself with the automatic side stabilizer system and the 3,000 lb capacity. If the application involves heavy loads or elevated lift positions where automatic stabilization provides meaningful safety value, the L-HD is the appropriate choice over standard-capacity electric skid lifters.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Heavy Skid and Pallet Handling at 3,000 lb, manufacturing and distribution operations moving heavy skid-mounted loads that exceed the 2,200 lb capacity of most other electric skid lifters use the L-HD for powered lift at the 3,000 lb capacity level without requiring forklift involvement.

♦ Applications Requiring Elevated Load Stability, operations regularly lifting loads to heights above 20" where the automatic side stabilizer system provides additional tip resistance, use the L-HD for the combined benefit of electric lift and automatic stabilizer engagement at elevated positions.

♦ Receiving and Staging of Heavy Freight on Skids, receiving departments handling heavy inbound freight on open-bottom skids use the L-HD for electric lift to staging and inspection height, with the 3,000 lb capacity covering heavier freight loads that standard 2,200 lb skid lifters cannot handle.

♦ Production Supply of Heavy Skid-Mounted Materials, production support operations delivering heavy raw material skids to press, punch, or assembly positions use the L-HD for electric lift positioning, with the auto-stabilizers providing stability during elevated hold periods at the machine position.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Vestil Ergonomic Powered High-Rise Lift Truck used for?
The Vestil ergonomic, powered high-rise lift truck is designed to lift and position palletized loads at elevated working heights. It combines electric lifting performance with the ability to handle materials vertically for better access. This equipment is ideal for order picking, assembly, and staging when loads must be raised above standard pallet height. It enables safer, more efficient handling in busy industrial environments.
How does this high-rise lift truck improve ergonomics for operators?
By lifting pallets to a more comfortable height, this unit helps reduce bending, reaching, and repetitive lifting strain. Operators can work in a more natural posture, which improves comfort during long shifts. Keeping loads positioned correctly also supports safer loading and unloading. Better ergonomics often leads to improved productivity and fewer workplace injuries over time.
What makes vertical positioning valuable in pallet handling applications?
Vertical positioning allows operators to access loads at elevated heights without relying on forklifts for constant adjustments. This is especially useful in assembly lines, packing stations, or work cells where materials must stay within easy reach. Raising the load higher improves visibility and reduces wasted movement. It creates a more efficient workflow when handling palletized goods repeatedly.
Where does the Vestil powered high-rise lift truck perform best?
This lift truck is well-suited for warehouses, production facilities, and distribution centers that require frequent pallet access at higher levels. It works well in staging areas, kitting operations, and workstation environments where controlled elevation is needed. The powered lift function allows for smooth handling even with heavier loads. Any facility focused on vertical material positioning can benefit from this equipment.
How does this lift truck support productivity and material flow efficiency?
Keeping loads elevated reduces time spent manually adjusting or repositioning materials. Operators can move faster and handle products more accurately when everything stays at the proper working height. Controlled lifting also improves stability, reducing product damage and handling errors. Over time, this leads to smoother workflow and better daily throughput.
