Wesco 4-Wheeled Hydraulic Steel Frame Pedalift

Wesco 4 Wheeled Hydraulic Steel Frame Pedalift

Wesco 4-Wheeled Hydraulic Steel Frame Pedalift | 750 lb, Upright Transport, Platform or Fork

The Wesco 4-Wheeled Hydraulic Steel Frame Pedalift is a mobile hydraulic lifter that transports and raises loads in the upright position on four wheels. Unlike the 2-wheeled Pedalift (which tips back on two wheels to transport), the 4-wheeled Pedalift rolls upright on all four 8" x 2" wheels, providing greater stability during transport and at the lift position. The platform starts at 5.75" above the floor and raises via a foot-operated hydraulic pump; a foot release mechanism lowers it smoothly. A wheel lock is standard for stability during loading and unloading.

Five models cover three platform configurations and two fork configurations at two lift heights (40" and 54"). Overall unit height is 48.5" for 40" lift models and 60.5" for 54" lift models, useful for planning access through doorways and under overhead obstructions. All models are rated at 750 lb capacity and include a 1-year warranty.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Platform vs. fork configuration, platform models (260008, 260009, 260010) provide a flat surface for bins, boxes, and non-pallet loads. Fork models (260011, 260012) are for pallet and skid loads with fork entry points. Choose the configuration that matches the load type.

♦ Platform size, 20"x16", 22"x22", or 30"x22", the 20"x16" (260008) suits smaller compact loads. The 22"x22" (260009) provides a larger square platform. The 30"x22" (260010) is the widest platform in the lineup. Match to the load footprint.

♦ Lift height, 40" or 54", select based on the destination height needed at the work position. Overall heights of 48.5" (40" lift) and 60.5" (54" lift) must be considered for doorway and overhead clearance in the travel path.

♦ 4-wheeled vs. 2-wheeled Pedalift, the 4-wheeled version transports upright on all four wheels for greater stability during rolling. The 2-wheeled version tips back like a hand truck, which requires less floor clearance at the nose but provides less stability during transport. Both versions offer the same configurations, capacity, and lift heights. Choose the 4-wheeled version when transport stability is the priority; choose the 2-wheeled version when hand-truck-style tipping maneuverability is preferred.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Stable Upright Transport with Lift at Destination, warehouse and production operations where load stability during rolling transport is important, use the 4-wheeled Pedalift for upright transport to the work position, followed by a hydraulic lift to working height.

♦ Work Positioning at 40" to 54" Height, operations lifting loads to workbench, conveyor infeed, or staging table heights of 40" or 54" use the 4-wheeled Pedalift as a mobile, self-contained transport-and-lift unit without the need for a separate stationary lift table at each destination.

♦ Compact Lifting for Bins, Totes, and Equipment, production and maintenance operations lifting bins, totes, toolboxes, and equipment components that cannot be fork-handled, use the platform models for a stable, flat-surface lift at the work position.

♦ Pallet and Skid Positioning with Fork Models: for receiving and staging operations handling pallets and skids at heights of 40" or 54", use the fork models (260011 and 260012) on a mobile hydraulic lift to the transfer or inspection height needed at the work position.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Wesco four-wheeled hydraulic steel frame Pedalift used for?
The Wesco four-wheeled hydraulic steel frame Pedalift is a heavy-duty manual lift designed to raise and transport loads in industrial and warehouse environments. It is ideal for lifting materials to an ergonomic working height for staging, assembly, and handling tasks. The hydraulic system provides smooth elevation without requiring electric power. This lift is a dependable solution for facilities that need mobile, durable material-handling support.
How does the four-wheeled design improve mobility and stability?
The four-wheeled configuration provides greater stability when moving loads across warehouse floors. It allows operators to maneuver heavier materials with more control and balance. This design also supports smoother transport in busy work areas and tighter spaces. Improved mobility makes the Pedalift a practical choice for facilities that need both lifting and transport capability.
How does this hydraulic lift support ergonomic handling?
By lifting loads off the floor, the Pedalift reduces bending, reaching, and manual strain for operators. Workers can position materials at a comfortable height, improving posture and reducing fatigue during long shifts. Foot-operated hydraulic lifting allows for controlled elevation with minimal effort. Ergonomic lifting helps create a safer and more productive workplace.
Where does the Wesco four-wheeled Pedalift perform best?
This lift performs well in warehouses, manufacturing plants, shipping departments, and staging zones where loads need frequent movement and elevation. It is especially useful for operations seeking a manual alternative to forklifts for lighter handling tasks. The mobile design makes it effective for transporting materials between workstations. Any facility focused on efficient, ergonomic handling can benefit from this lift.
How does the Pedalift improve workflow efficiency?
Keeping materials at the proper working height reduces wasted motion and speeds up handling processes. Operators can move faster and work more accurately when loads are stable and accessible. Controlled lifting also reduces product damage and handling errors. Over time, this improves throughput and supports smoother daily operations.
