Wesco Counterbalance Powered Stacker

Wesco Counter Balance Powered Stackers

Wesco Counterbalance Powered Stacker | 850–1,000 lb, 13" Load Centers, 56"–76" Lift

The Wesco Counterbalance Powered Stacker is a battery-electric stacker designed for precise lifting and controlled placement of dies, heavy components, tooling, and equipment in industrial environments where standard pallet stackers are not appropriate. The 13" load centers distinguish this unit from pallet stackers (which typically use 24" load centers) and confirm it is sized for compact, dense loads rather than standard GMA pallets.

Remote control, floor lock, and safety screen are standard on all three models. A 3-light LED charge status indicator and an illuminated battery voltmeter provide continuous battery monitoring. These units can be operated while recharging, even at minimal charge, keeping production and maintenance operations running without interruption. Forks are 25" standard with a 30" option available. ASME B56.10 compliant.

Important: These are counterbalance units. Counterweights are not included and must be ordered separately and installed before use. Operating without appropriate counterweights is unsafe and will void the warranty.

Models and Specifications:

♦ 261037, 25" standard forks (30" optional). Load centers 13". Raised height 56". Capacity per Wesco specification -- verify 850 lb or 1,000 lb with Wesco. Remote control, floor lock, and safety screen are standard. 3-light LED charge indicator, illuminated battery voltmeter. Operates while charging. ASME B56.10. Counterweights not included.

♦ 261038, 25" standard forks (30" optional). Load centers 13". Raised height 64". Same specification as 261037 at a greater raised height. Counterweights not included.

♦ 261039, 25" standard forks (30" optional). Load centers 13". Raised height 76". Same specification as 261037 at greatest raised height. Counterweights not included.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Raised height: 56", 64", or 76"; select based on the highest position the load must reach: die storage rack height, machine bed height, or work positioning height. All three models are otherwise identical in specification.

♦ Counterweight requirement: these units require counterweights to operate safely. The appropriate counterweight depends on the load weight and the lift height at which the load is handled. Contact CustomMHS at 866-333-0728 before ordering to confirm the correct counterweight kit. Do not operate without counterweights installed.

♦ 13" load centers and load type, the 13" load center specification is designed for compact, concentrated loads such as stamping dies, molds, tooling fixtures, and heavy components. Standard GMA pallets at 24" load centers are not intended for this application. Verify that the load dimensions and center of gravity are compatible with the 13" load center before ordering.

♦ 25" vs. 30" forks: The standard 25" fork length covers most die and tooling load depths. The 30" fork option provides additional depth for larger tooling or components that would extend beyond a 25" fork. Specify at the time of order.

♦ Wesco counterbalance vs. Presto CW Series: the Presto CW Series (path 353_1110_1197) is also a counterweight stacker without straddle legs, covering 200–1,000 lb at 62" or 74" heights. The Wesco counterbalance models use 13" load centers specifically for dies and tooling, while the Presto CW Series covers a broader range of bin, component, and equipment lifting tasks.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Stamping Die Handling and Storage, metal stamping and fabrication operations using the Wesco counterbalance stacker to move stamping dies between storage positions and press beds, use the 13" load centers and controlled electric lift for precise, stable die positioning at production equipment heights.

♦ Mold and Tooling Positioning, plastic injection molding, die casting, and machining operations, moving molds and tooling fixtures between storage and production equipment use the counterbalance stacker for controlled lift and placement at machine heights of 56", 64", or 76".

♦ Maintenance and Equipment Servicing, maintenance departments using the counterbalance stacker to position heavy components, sub-assemblies, and replacement parts at machine and equipment service heights use the remote control and floor lock for precise positioning with the operator clear of the load.

♦ Heavy Component Staging and Transport, operations staging and transporting dense, compact heavy components between production positions use the counterbalance stacker for controlled electric-powered transport and lift at the 13" load center dimension appropriate for the component geometry.
