The Hallowell 4710-24 Hi-Tech 5-Shelf Stockroom Shelving is built for wide-span, bulk storage, offering dependable strength, long-term durability, and a flexible shelving system that keeps up with daily use. With 48" wide shelves and a full 24" depth, this unit is ideal for storing bulk cartons, equipment, supply totes, and high-volume inventory in stockrooms, warehouses, maintenance areas, and back-of-house storage.
Each heavy-duty steel shelf is engineered to remain rigid under load, with a tubular, welded box beam (front and rear) for strength and sag resistance. Hallowell’s exclusive triple-bend side flanges add rigidity, while lapped and welded corners reinforce high-stress points for long service life. Shelves are punched to accept shelf dividers for better organization (dividers sold separately if applicable). Assembly is fast and secure—each shelf installs using only four shelf clips. The open starter frame includes beaded front posts, angle back posts, and sway bracing for stability.
This is an open starter unit designed to begin a shelving run; add-on units are used to extend the row (if applicable to your setup).
