The Hallowell 5711-12 Hi-Tech 6-Shelf Tool Crib Shelving is built for facilities that want industrial-strength shelving with higher storage density in a compact footprint. With six shelf levels and rugged Hi-Tech construction, it’s a practical upgrade for tool cribs, maintenance areas, and stockrooms where shelves get used hard every day.

Each heavy-duty shelf is engineered for long service life, featuring a tubular welded box beam in the front and rear for maximum strength, exclusive triple-bend side flanges for added rigidity, and lapped & welded corners to resist racking under load. The shelf surface is also punched to accept shelf dividers, allowing you to create assigned locations and keep tools, parts, and supplies organized.

Installation is straightforward: each shelf locks in using only four shelf clips, and the post system combines beaded front posts (flush design for straight-in/straight-out shelf installation and full use of shelf width) with angle back posts (roll-formed for strength). Posts are punched on 1-1/2" centers, allowing precise shelf height adjustment as your storage needs change.

This is an open starter unit—the correct first bay to begin a run. Use a starter unit to start each row, then add add-on (adder) units to extend the row efficiently.
