The Hallowell 7511-18 Hi-Tech 6-Shelf Stockroom Shelving is built for extreme load capacity in a footprint that still fits real-world stockrooms. With a massive 1,200 lb capacity per shelf and six shelf levels, this unit is designed for heavy parts, dense inventory, tools, and equipment that would overwhelm standard shelving.

This is true industrial shelving—not light-duty knockdown racks. Each shelf is reinforced with a tubular welded box beam front and rear, exclusive triple-bend side flanges, and lapped & welded corners to maintain rigidity under constant heavy loads. Shelves are also punched to accept shelf dividers, making it easy to assign locations and keep heavy items organized rather than stacked and shifting.

Despite the strength, the setup is efficient. Each shelf installs using only four shelf clips, and the shelving system uses beaded front posts (flush for straight-in/straight-out loading and full shelf width) paired with angle back posts (roll-formed for maximum strength). Posts are punched on 1-1/2" centers, allowing precise shelf height adjustment as storage needs change.

This is an open starter unit, meaning it’s used to begin each shelving row. Once installed, add-on (adder) units can be connected to extend the run efficiently and economically.

The 18" depth provides a strong balance between capacity and accessibility—deeper than 12" units while still keeping shelves easy to reach in most stockroom layouts.
