MECO 3" structural upright frames are rigid, all-welded upright frames engineered for heavy-duty pallet rack systems. Upright frame systems can provide storage capacity up to 34,800 pounds per bay, depending on beam configuration, beam spacing, and overall rack design.
Select upright height based on your facility’s ceiling height, sprinkler clearances, and forklift lift limitations. Upright frame depth is determined by pallet depth and desired pallet overhang. For example, a 48" deep pallet typically uses a 42" deep upright, allowing approximately 3" overhang at the front and 3" at the back.
MECO structural pallet racking is designed in accordance with AISC and RMI standards. Upright frames are fabricated from structural channels and include 3" wide x 3" long base plates. Installation is fast and straightforward using standard tools.
