The WireCrafters Super Strong Style 840 Wire Partition System is built for facilities that need absolute security without sacrificing visibility, flexibility, or installation speed. These panels are engineered for strength from the ground up: 10-gauge woven wire in a 2" x 1" rectangular mesh, welded into a heavy hot-rolled angle frame, with stiffener bars added on larger panels for extra rigidity. Panels bolt directly to 2" square, 14-gauge steel tube posts using 3/8" hardware, then anchor to the floor with a welded base plate and provided anchors to create a robust, rigid partition line.

What raises the security level further is WireCrafters' inside-only hardware design. With fasteners accessible only from inside the cage, the system is substantially harder to tamper with from the outside, exactly what you want when protecting valuable inventory, equipment, tools, and controlled items.

WireCrafters manufactures 20 stock wire partition panels, ranging from 1 foot wide to 10 feet wide in 1-foot increments. Panels are 4 feet or 5 feet high and stack one on top of the other to build a tool crib either 8, 10, or 12 feet tall, with a variety of hinged or sliding door options in stock for 48-hour shipping. Security cages can also be equipped with ceilings, and ceiling and wall panels can be interchanged. Tool cribs and security cages can be designed in custom sizes and configurations.

Configuration Options Available:

♦ 1-Wall Configuration, designed to fit between 2 existing walls. Useful for securing aisles and rows of pallet racks.

All configurations are available in 8'-5-1/4", 10'-5-1/4", or 12'-5-1/4" heights, with hinged, double-hinged, sliding, or vertical rise doors.

When to Use 2" x 1" Woven Wire Over 2" x 2" Welded Wire.

Both mesh types stop casual access, but they fail differently and protect against different threats. The first question is whether the barrier is doing security work or separation work.

Woven mesh is interlocked at every crossing rather than fused. Cutting one strand does not open a hole, because the surrounding weave still holds the pattern in place. Welded mesh relies on the weld at each intersection, so breaking a few welds can open a gap faster. The 2" x 1" opening also matters as much as the wire itself. A 1-inch dimension blocks a hand and forearm, preventing access to a latch, a lock, or inventory sitting just inside the line. A 2" x 2" opening does not.

Choose 2" x 1" woven wire when:

♦ Reach-through is a realistic risk, meaning stock is stored close to the fence line, or the lock is within arm's reach of the outside.

♦ The cage sits in a forklift or cart traffic lane, where impact will eventually hit the panels.
♦ The build is a full-height tool crib at 8, 10, or 12 feet, or includes a ceiling.

Should I use 2" x 1" woven wire or 2" x 2" welded wire?
Use 2" x 1" woven wire when the enclosure protects high-value, portable, or controlled inventory. Use 2" x 2" welded wire when the barrier is separating space rather than securing valuables, such as walling off a storage room or a contractor area. Many facilities run welded wire on the general perimeter and build a woven wire cage inside it for the items that carry real exposure.

What does inside-only hardware mean?
The fasteners holding the system together are accessible only from inside the enclosure, so someone standing outside the cage has nothing to unbolt. That closes a gap that exists on partitions where hardware faces outward, since a secure panel is only as secure as the connection holding it in place.
