The Akro-Mils 30130 is a plastic hopper front shelf bin measuring 11-5/8" long x 6-5/8" wide x 4" high on the outside, with an inside volume of 128 cubic inches. It is sold in cartons of 12 in red, yellow, blue, green or clear, one color per carton.

A hopper front bin has a sloped, open front, so you can see and reach the parts without lifting the bin off the shelf. The 30130 is the wide version of the 11-5/8" long 4" bin. It is wider than the 30110 (2-3/4" wide, 54 cubic inches) and the 30120 (4-1/8" wide, 78 cubic inches), and it holds the most of the three. It is molded in one piece from industrial-grade polymer, is waterproof, is unaffected by grease or oil, and works in temperatures down to -20 F.

At 11-5/8" long, the 30130 is sized for 12" deep shelving. It fits standard wire and steel shelving, and it also works on pick racks and bench racks. Width dividers (model 40130) are sold separately, and each bin takes up to 7 of them to split the bin into smaller compartments. Bin cups, which lift out for transport, are also available. Color coding lets you separate parts by type, department or stock level.
