Akro-Mils 33168 Akro-Grid Dividable Plastic Box, 6 per Carton

The Akro-Mils 33168 Akro-Grid is the deepest box in its 16-1/2 x 10-7/8 in. footprint, at 8 in. high. It divides into as many as 96 separate compartments. Seven long divider slots and eleven short slots run in both directions, creating compartments as small as 1-1/8 in. square. One box can hold several distinct part numbers, or taller parts and a complete kit, so workers stop sorting and counting mixed parts before every pick.

The 33168 measures 16-1/2 x 10-7/8 x 8 in. outside and 14-5/8 x 9-1/16 x 7-9/16 in. inside, with a volume of 0.59 cu ft (4.4 gal). It is rated for 40 lb per container, the highest rating in this footprint. The injection-molded polymer resists most solvents and chemicals. Stacking rims and external ribbing add strength, and a molded-in letter and number system helps with part tracking.

Dividers and lids are sold separately. Divider sets and lids are model specific, so order them with the box. Divider boxes are typically stack-only, and Akro-Mils does not publish a stacking limit. In a stack, the bottom container’s support rating governs the column height, not the per-container load.
