Akro-Mils 33224 Akro-Grid Dividable Plastic Box, 6 per Carton

The Akro-Mils 33224 Akro-Grid is a 4 in. deep dividable box with a large 22-3/8 x 17-3/8 in. footprint. Eleven long divider slots and fifteen short slots run in both directions, so one box divides into as many as 192 separate compartments, as small as 1-1/8 in. square. One box can hold many small parts or a full kit, and the shallow depth keeps the grid visible from above.

The 33224 measures 22-3/8 x 17-3/8 x 4 in. outside and 20 x 15 x 3-7/8 in. inside at the bottom, with a volume of 0.61 cu ft (4.6 gal). It is rated for 30 lb per container. The injection-molded polymer resists most solvents and chemicals. Stacking rims and external ribbing add strength, and a molded-in letter and number system helps with part tracking.

Dividers and lids are sold separately. Divider sets and lids are model specific, so order them with the box. Divider boxes are typically stack-only, and Akro-Mils does not publish a stacking limit. In a stack, the bottom container’s support rating governs the column height, not the per-container load.
