Little Giant high-capacity storage cabinets with pegboard doors use the inside surface of each door as active tool storage. The doors are fitted with 16-gauge pegboard panels, turning otherwise unused vertical space into a hanging tool organization surface without adding any floor footprint. Shelves inside the cabinet handle larger items, bins, and equipment, while the door pegboard keeps frequently used hand tools visible, accessible, and organized in a defined layout.

The cabinet body is all-welded 12-gauge steel. All models share the same 1,500-pound-per-shelf capacity. Selection variables are cabinet width (24" or 30"), height (48" or 60"), and shelf count (2 or 3 adjustable shelves). All models ship fully assembled.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Shelf count, 2 vs. 3 adjustable shelves: The SSL2 series includes 2 adjustable shelves. The SSL3 series includes 3 adjustable shelves in the same cabinet footprint. Choose 3 shelves when more interior shelf positions are needed for bins, parts, or equipment that don't hang on the pegboard doors. Choose 2 shelves when fewer shelves are preferred, but with more generous shelf openings for taller items.

♦ Width, 24" vs. 30": The 24" wide models suit tighter wall spaces and narrower bays. The 30" wide models provide more shelf surface per unit and a wider pegboard door for hanging a larger tool set.

♦ Height, 48" vs. 60": The 48" tall models suit positions with overhead clearance constraints or under-window installations. The 60" tall models provide more total interior storage, more pegboard door surface area, and an additional shelf opening in the SSL3 configuration.

♦ 16-gauge pegboard door panels: Heavier than standard pegboard stock, providing more rigidity under hook loading and more durability over time in environments where tools are heavy or hook positions are rearranged frequently.

♦ Pegboard on door interior vs. door-as-pegboard: In this cabinet, the pegboard panels are mounted on the inside face of steel doors. The door opens to reveal the pegboard surface. This differs from cabinets where the door itself is a pegboard panel. The steel door provides a more robust enclosure that protects the hung tools when the cabinet is closed.
