Rousseau 54" R-Series Modular Drawer Cabinet

Each drawer supports up to 400 lbs. and features full-extension slides for complete access to stored contents. The extra-wide 54" design accommodates oversized tooling, large assemblies, and complete tool sets, helping consolidate inventory, improve organization, and maximize available storage space. Manufactured in North America, Rousseau R-Series cabinets are built for dependable performance in demanding industrial environments.

All cabinets are 54" wide, with two depth options: 24" deep (R5AJE Series) and 27" deep (R5AJG Series). Cabinet heights range from 36" to 60", with configurations offering 5 to 8 drawers and individual drawer heights from 3" to 12". Most models are available with or without drawer partitions for organized parts storage, while select 46"-high configurations include a roll-out shelf for additional storage flexibility.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Depth: 24" (R5AJE) vs. 27" (R5AJG): The 24" depth suits standard floor positions. The 27" depth provides additional interior clearance for longer tools and larger storage trays. Both depths share nearly identical drawer configurations and heights across the lineup.
♦ Cabinet height: The 36" and 40" heights suit workbench-height use or as lower base units in a modular system. The 46" height adds drawer count while remaining under most ceiling-clearance thresholds and includes the roll-out shelf option. The 60" models provide the highest drawer count per footprint in this series.
♦ Drawer configuration: Mid-depth drawers (4" to 6" tall) suit large hand tools, gauges, and standard-size parts. Deeper drawers (8" to 12" tall) accommodate heavy or bulky tooling, oversized fixture components, and large stacked trays. The 60" models combine 4" and 10" drawers for a mixed inventory in a single unit.
♦ Roll-out shelf: The 46" models (R5AJE-4401/4402 and R5AJG-4401/4402) include a roll-out shelf alongside five drawers, providing an integrated pull-out work surface 54" wide. Suited to operations where a flat staging surface adjacent to large tool storage improves workflow.
♦ Partitions: Models marked "Yes" include drawer divider partitions. Models marked "No" have open drawer interiors.
