Edge Kadon heavy-duty hopper boxes are large-format, high-capacity plastic hopper-front bins for industrial parts storage where a standard small-parts bin cannot hold the required volume or load. At 150 pounds per bin, the Kadon hopper box carries twice the capacity of the Akro-Mils Stak-N-Store and significantly more than any standard AkroBin. The hopper front provides direct access to bin contents without removing the bin from its stack or shelf position. Black industrial-grade plastic construction handles daily handling in warehouses, production areas, maintenance rooms, and dock positions.

Two sizes are available: the small model (HH191107001000) at 19.25" long, 11" wide, and 6.75" high, and the large model (HH241109001000) at 23.5" long, 11" wide, and 9" high. Both models stack securely. Both are rated at 150 pounds.

Selecting the Right Bin:

♦ Size, the small model is 6.75" high outside (6.25" inside) and suits positions with limited vertical clearance or where a shorter bin profile is preferred. The large model is 9" high outside (8.25" inside) and holds considerably more volume per bin position. Both models are 11" wide outside and 9.5" wide inside. Choose based on the volume of parts to be stored per bin position and the available vertical clearance at the shelf or stacking position.

♦ 150-pound capacity, this is the highest per-bin capacity of any plastic hopper-front bin on this site. It is appropriate for heavy fasteners, dense fittings, steel hardware, and other materials that would overload standard-capacity plastic bins. Verify that the shelf or stacking surface can support the full loaded weight before stacking multiple filled bins.

♦ Hopper front, the open hopper front allows parts to be retrieved without removing the bin, which is the primary access speed advantage of the hopper-front format. Both models provide hopper-front access at the same 11" width, with the larger model offering more vertical hopper opening due to its greater height.

♦ Sold individually, unlike the Akro-Mils bin series, which is priced by carton, Kadon hopper boxes are priced and sold per unit. Order the exact quantity needed without calculating carton multiples.
