The Hallowell 5534 bin shelving unit provides 24 openings across four widths: 6", 9", 12", and 18", all at a uniform 12" height. This is the widest range of opening widths in a single unit across the Hi-Tech Bin Shelving System series. The layout is built around the 12"-wide position as the primary storage zone, with 12 of the 24 positions at that width. Six narrower 6"-wide positions handle the smallest items, four 9"-wide positions bridge the middle range, and two 18"-wide positions accommodate the largest items. All 24 openings are 12" high.

The 5534 is suited for facilities managing inventory that spans the full range from small to medium-large, where a single unit needs to serve every size category without dedicating separate units to each. All units are 36" wide x 87" high. Three depth options: 12", 18", and 24".

♦ 18" depth, standard depth. Accommodates most items in all four opening sizes.

♦ 24" depth, maximum depth. For higher per-opening volume or items in the 12" or 18" wide positions that require more front-to-back space.

♦ 5534 vs. 5532, the 5532 uses 12" wide openings at both 9" and 12" heights, plus 18" wide openings at 12" height. The 5534 adds 6"- and 9"-wide positions and uses uniform 12" height throughout. Choose 5534 when the inventory also includes items that need 6" and 9" wide positions alongside larger items. Choose 5532 when the 9"-high shorter openings in the 12"-wide zone are appropriate.

♦ 5534 vs. 5535, the 5535 adds a mix of 6"-high openings alongside 9" and 12"-high openings at multiple widths. Choose 5535 when some items are short enough for 6"-high positions, and the maximum position count with varied heights is the goal.
