In a typical installation, each SKU is assigned to a specific bin opening, allowing workers to locate and pull parts quickly, with fewer mistakes and better inventory control.

This 5534 layout is especially effective when you stock a wide range of small-to-medium parts, thanks to its mix of opening widths—from tight 6" compartments for small hardware up to 18" wide openings for larger items. The 12" depth keeps the footprint slim for narrow aisles, wall-line storage, and tighter workspaces while still giving you a clean, structured pick face.

The starter unit is complete and freestanding, ready to stand alone or anchor a longer run. When you need more footage, add adder units that connect to the starter and share a side panel, letting you build continuous rows efficiently and reduce cost per added section.
