Lift Products Guardian Series Lift Table

The Lift Products Guardian Series is a hydraulic scissor lift table engineered to meet and exceed both ANSI (U.S.) and European safety standards for lift tables -- a distinction that matters in facilities where compliance, operator protection, and reduced pinch-point exposure are formal requirements, not just preferences. Guardian Series tables are designed as ergonomic workstations that bring loads to the correct working height for assembly, packaging, staging, and material handling tasks, reducing the bending, reaching, and manual lifting that cause fatigue and injury over time.

Available for both above-floor and in-floor applications, the Guardian Series suits environments where operator safety and ergonomic efficiency are the priority.

All five models share the same 1,100 lb capacity. Selection is based on the platform footprint and maximum raised height that fits your load, floor space, and working height requirements.

Choosing the Right Model:

♦ LPB-10-0 -- 31.5" x 39.38" platform, raises from 7.87" to 31". Compact footprint for tighter workstations or lighter loads. Best when a raised height of 31" is sufficient for the application.

♦ LPB-10-1 -- 31.5" x 49.25" platform, raises from 7.87" to 39.37". Longer platform in the same narrow width. Best when loads are longer or when 39" working height is the target.

♦ LPB-10-2 -- 39.37" x 49.25" platform, raises from 7.87" to 39.37". Wider platform than the LPB-10-1 at the same raised height and length. Best when the load requires more lateral support.

♦ LPB-10-3 -- 31.5" x 59" platform, raises from 8.62" to 48". The longest and tallest in the narrow-width group. Best for longer loads or applications requiring a higher raised position up to 48".

♦ LPB-10-4 -- 39.37" x 59" platform, raises from 8.62" to 48". Widest and longest platform in the series. Best for the largest loads or applications requiring maximum platform area and 48" raised height.

Above-Floor vs. In-Floor Applications:

Standard above-floor installation places the lift table on the existing floor surface. In-floor installation recesses the table so the platform sits flush with the surrounding floor in the lowered position, allowing loads to be rolled directly onto the platform without a ramp or step. In-floor installation requires a pit to be prepared before installation and is the correct choice when level loading from the floor is a workflow requirement. Contact us if you need guidance on in-floor configuration for your facility.

Where Guardian Series Lift Tables Are Most Commonly Used:

♦ Assembly and production workstations -- Guardian Series tables function as ergonomic work positioners that raise loads to a consistent height for operators, reducing fatigue and improving work quality across the shift.

♦ Packaging and order fulfillment -- Raising pallets or totes to working height during packing, sealing, and labeling eliminates floor-level handling that slows throughput and stresses operators.

♦ Compliance-driven facilities -- Operations subject to OSHA ergonomic guidelines, facility safety audits, or ISO/European safety standards benefit from a lift table that is specifically built to meet those requirements rather than one that merely approaches them.

♦ Maintenance and service areas -- Raising heavy assemblies or equipment to working height for service and inspection without overhead lifting equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Lift Products Guardian Series lift table used for?
The Guardian Series lift table is designed to raise and position loads at a comfortable working height for assembly, packing, maintenance, and staging. It reduces manual lifting and awkward handling by bringing materials to the operator rather than requiring them to reach down. In busy facilities, it can serve as a dedicated workstation, improving workflow and reducing handling time. It is a practical solution for safer, more efficient material handling.
What makes a safety-focused scissor lift table different from a basic lift table?
A safety-focused lift table prioritizes operator and nearby personnel protection during lifting and lowering. Features and design details typically prioritize stable lifting, controlled movement, and reduced pinch point exposure. This matters in high-traffic areas where people work near equipment and loads are handled frequently. Choosing a safety-driven model supports compliance-minded operations and reduces the risk of preventable incidents.
How does a hydraulic scissor lift table improve productivity?
Hydraulic lifting provides smooth, consistent raising and lowering, allowing operators to keep work moving without constant manual effort. When materials are presented at an efficient height, tasks such as loading, labeling, kitting, and packing become faster and more consistent. Better positioning also reduces product damage caused by dragging, dropping, or unstable handling. Over time, the lift table becomes a workflow tool that helps eliminate bottlenecks.
Where does the Guardian Series lift table best fit within a facility?
It is commonly used in shipping and receiving, production lines, maintenance bays, and warehouse staging areas. It can support pallet loading, carton handling, and work positioning where items need to be raised for easier access. Facilities with repetitive handling tasks benefit the most because the lift table improves consistency across shifts. It is especially useful wherever safety and ergonomics are priorities.
What should you consider when selecting a lift table for your operation?
Think about how the load will be placed on the table, how often it will cycle, and how much space you have around the workstation. Consider whether operators need frequent height adjustments and whether the table will be used near foot traffic or other equipment. Also, evaluate the types of loads you handle and how stable they are during lifting. Choosing the right lift table ensures reliable performance and safer day-to-day use.
