Little Giant 3-Shelf Mobile Steel Table

Little Giant 3-Shelf Mobile Steel Table | Industrial Work Cart

The Little Giant 3-Shelf Mobile Steel Table is built from all-welded, heavy-duty 12-gauge steel for long-lasting durability. Three shelves provide ample, organized storage space, well suited to kitting, staging, and moving materials between work areas. Four swivel casters, fitted with 5-inch or 6-inch non-marking polyurethane wheels, provide superior maneuverability while helping protect finished floors.

Two capacity options are available: a 1,200-lb model with 11 inches of shelf clearance and a 3,600-lb model with 10-1/2 inches of shelf clearance. Standing 34 inches tall, the table is finished in a durable powder-coated gray, combining function with a clean, professional appearance. An optional floor lock is available on the 3,600 lb models for secure, stationary positioning when needed.

Fourteen configurations are available across five sizes, two capacity tiers, and an optional floor lock.

Selection Guide:

♦ Capacity and wheel size: the 1,200 lb model uses 5-inch wheels and offers 11 inches of shelf clearance. The 3,600 lb model uses 6-inch wheels with 10-1/2 inches of clearance. Select based on the expected load weight and the height of items being stored on each shelf.

♦ Size, from 24"x36" up to 30"x60", select based on the footprint of materials being transported and the available floor and aisle space.

♦ Floor lock option, available on the 3,600 lb models, the floor lock secures the table in place during loading, unloading, or extended use at a single location, useful when the table doubles as a stationary work surface.

♦ Three-shelf organization, separating materials by process step, department, or work order across three levels, reduces mixed parts and helps prevent missed items during staging.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Kitting and Parts Staging facilities use the three-shelf layout to separate materials by process step or work order, reducing mixed parts and missed items during kitting.

♦ Maintenance and Facilities Tool Transport: Maintenance teams use the table to carry tools, fasteners, and replacement parts on separate shelves during service calls.

♦ Warehouse Order Picking and Replenishment: warehouses use the table for order picking and replenishment tasks where items need to remain sorted across multiple levels.

♦ Packing Station Support: packing stations use the three levels to stage cartons, dunnage, and labels together, keeping the packing process organized and efficient.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Little Giant 3-Shelf Mobile Steel Table, and what is it designed to do?
The Little Giant 3-Shelf Mobile Steel Table is a three-tier steel cart for moving and staging supplies. It is built from all-welded, heavy-duty 12-gauge steel for long service life. Three shelves provide more organized storage than a two-shelf cart. The table stands 34 inches tall for comfortable standing access. It includes four swivel casters for easy positioning in tight areas.
How does this 3-shelf mobile steel table help your facility stay organized?
Three shelves let teams separate materials by process step, department, or work order. This reduces the number of mixing parts and helps prevent missed items during staging. The mobile design supports point-of-use supply, so teams can bring inventory to the work area. Non-marking polyurethane wheels help protect finished floors and clean areas. A powder-coated gray finish supports routine wipe-downs after dust, spills, or debris.
What key features matter most for durability and load handling?
All-welded 12-gauge steel construction resists flexing and withstands frequent impacts. The cart is available in 1,200 lb. and 3,600 lb. models to meet different load requirements. Choosing the higher-capacity option can help when loads are dense or concentrated on one shelf. The powder-coated gray finish adds corrosion resistance and protects against scratches. Three shelves increase usable surface area without increasing floor space.
How do wheel size and shelf clearance affect what you can carry?
You can select 5-inch or 6-inch non-marking polyurethane wheels based on your floors and load weight. Larger wheels generally roll more easily over seams and small debris. The 1,200 lb. model provides 11 inches of shelf clearance, which fits taller bins and stacked cartons. The 3,600 lb. model provides 10-1/2 inches of clearance for slightly shorter loads. Planning shelf heights helps avoid tipping and keeps loads stable during turns.
What are typical uses for the Little Giant 3-Shelf Mobile Steel Table?
Facilities use it for kitting, parts staging, and moving work-in-progress between stations. It works well for maintenance teams carrying tools, fasteners, and replacement parts on separate shelves. Warehouses use it for order picking and replenishment when items must remain sorted. Labs and assembly areas use it to keep supplies organized near benches. It also supports packing stations by staging cartons, dunnage, and labels across the three levels.
