Little Giant Fixed Height Mobile Machine Table

Little Giant Fixed Height Mobile Machine Table

Little Giant Fixed Height Mobile Machine Table | Heavy-Duty Rolling Equipment Stand

The Little Giant Fixed Height Mobile Machine Table is designed for both mobility and stability, supporting benchtop machines, vises, presses, and inspection fixtures that need a consistent working height across stations. Four swivel 6" by 2" phenolic casters provide easy movement, and each caster includes a wheel brake that locks the table securely in place during use, helping reduce vibration transmission when equipment is running.

The top is constructed from 3/16-inch-thick steel, resisting dents, gouges, and flexing under equipment bases. Legs are built from 2" by 2" by 1/4" structural angle iron for exceptional strength and support. All-welded construction means no assembly is required, so the table is ready for immediate use.

Unlike the Adjustable Height version, this table is offered at two fixed heights, 30" or 36", a simpler option when consistent setup across stations matters more than height flexibility. Eight configurations are available across four sizes and both fixed heights.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Fixed height, 30" or 36", select based on the working height that best suits the operators and tasks at each station. A fixed height standardizes setup across stations, helping keep tools and equipment in the same position, supporting repeatable processes and faster training for new staff.

♦ Size, from 30"x22" up to 48"x30", select based on the footprint of the machine, fixture, or equipment the table needs to support and the available floor space.

♦ Fixed vs. adjustable height: choose this fixed-height version when consistent setup across multiple stations matters more than height flexibility. The Adjustable Height Mobile Machine Table is a better fit when different operators or tasks require varying working heights.

♦ Wheel brakes, standard on all four casters, keep the table stable during machine start-up, shutdown, or operation-related vibration, reducing unwanted movement when the table is being used as a fixed platform.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Standardized Multi-Station Production Setups: facilities running multiple identical stations use the fixed-height design to keep tooling and equipment position consistent, supporting faster operator training and repeatable processes.

♦ Maintenance Tear-Down and Rebuild Support: maintenance teams use the table as a rolling platform for equipment tear-downs and rebuilds, benefiting from the stable, locked position the wheel brakes provide.

♦ Staging Areas for Equipment Installation: Facilities use the table to temporarily support equipment in staging areas before final installation.

♦ Mobile Support for Benchtop Machines and Fixtures: shops use the table to support vises, presses, and inspection fixtures that need a stable, consistent-height base while still allowing occasional repositioning.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Little Giant Fixed Height Mobile Machine Table, and what is it used for?
The Little Giant Fixed-Height Mobile Machine Table is a welded-steel table designed to support machines, fixtures, and tooling. It provides a stable work surface while still allowing the table to be moved when needed. The top is made of 3/16-inch-thick steel for durability under heavy use. It arrives ready to use, with all-welded construction and no assembly required. This table is suitable for industrial areas that require a consistent working height and reliable support.
How does the fixed height design help your facility operate more consistently?
A fixed-height standardizes setup across stations, helping operators keep tools and equipment in the same position. That consistency supports repeatable processes and quicker training for new staff. Mobility makes it easier to reposition equipment for cleaning, maintenance access, or layout changes. Wheel brakes help keep the table from drifting during use. This balance supports both stable operation and flexible floor planning.
What key features support durability and long service life in shop environments?
The 3/16-inch steel top resists dents, gouges, and flexing from equipment bases. Legs made from 2-inch by 2-inch by 1/4-inch structural angle iron provide strong support. All-welded construction reduces joint loosening that can occur with bolted frames. Steel surfaces wipe down easily after oils, dust, and debris. The rigid frame helps reduce vibration transmission when equipment is running.
How do the phenolic casters and brakes affect mobility and control?
The table uses four swivel 6-inch by 2-inch phenolic casters for smooth movement and easy steering. Swivel casters allow the table to rotate in place for tight positioning. The casters' wheel brakes let you lock the table when operating equipment. Phenolic wheels roll well on many shop floors and resist wear in high-traffic areas. Keeping wheels clean improves rolling resistance and brake grip.
What are typical uses for the Little Giant Fixed Height Mobile Machine Table?
Facilities use it for benchtop machines, vises, presses, and inspection fixtures that need a stable base. It works well for staging equipment near production lines without committing to a permanent install. Maintenance teams use it as a rolling platform for teardown and rebuild work. It also supports kitting and setup tasks that require a durable work surface. Many shops keep one as a flexible support table for overflow work.
