Logitrans SELFRA 1003 Adjustable Box Holder Rotator

logitrans rotator

Logitrans SELFRA 1003 Rotator, Adjustable Box Holder for Ergonomic Material Handling

The Logitrans SELFRA 1003 is a fully powered rotator with electric lift and electric drive, built for operations that frequently tilt, tip, or rotate boxes and crates throughout the shift without manual pushing. It is the powered drive counterpart to the ELFRA 1001 and ELFSRA 1001 manual push rotators, suited for applications where travel distances between workstations are longer or operator fatigue from manual pushing is a concern.

The adjustable box holders accommodate box widths from 31.5" to 48" and are set up quickly with a single handle, no tools required. The unit tilts loads beyond 90 degrees while maintaining a 2,200 lb rated capacity, keeping contents within comfortable reach during filling, emptying, or sorting. The fork-over design works with standard pallets, open-bottom pallets, and skids, but not closed-bottom pallets.

Two fork width options are available: 22" and 27". Five models cover lift heights from 36" to 75", all sharing the same fork length and 2,200 lb capacity. The only difference between models is the maximum lift height.

Models and Specifications:

♦ SELFRA 1003-36, 22" or 27" W x 49" L fork-over forks. Maximum lift height 36". Capacity 2,200 lb. Powered lift, powered drive. Floor to standard work surface.
♦ SELFRA 1003-47, 22" or 27" W x 49" L fork-over forks. Maximum lift height 47". Capacity: 2,200 lb. Mid-height access for elevated workbenches or conveyor infeed.
♦ SELFRA 1003-55, 22" or 27" W x 49" L fork-over forks. Maximum lift height 55". Capacity: 2,200 lb. Upper mid-height for taller workstations or elevated staging.
♦ SELFRA 1003-63, 22" or 27" W x 49" L fork-over forks. Maximum lift height 63". Capacity 2,200 lb. Tall workstations or rotation access above standard height.
♦ SELFRA 1003-75, 22" or 27" W x 49" L fork-over forks. Maximum lift height 75". Capacity: 2,200 lb. Maximum reach; best for overhead conveyors or elevated discharge points.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Lift height: all five models carry 2,200 lb to their full rated height; select based on the working height that best fits your operators and workstations.
♦ Fork-over design and pallet compatibility: works with standard four-way pallets, open-bottom pallets, and skids. Does not handle closed-bottom pallets; verify pallet compatibility before ordering.
♦ SELFRA 1003 vs. ELFRA 1001 vs. ELFSRA 1001: all three share the same adjustable box holder range (31.5"-48"), fork dimensions, lift height range, and 2,200 lb capacity. ELFRA 1001 is a powered lift, manual push, fork-over, and the lowest-priced option in the rotator range; best when travel distances are short. ELFSRA 1001 is powered lift, manual push, straddle leg, and works with all pallet types, including closed-bottom; best when pallet versatility matters more than powered drive. SELFRA 1003 is powered lift, powered drive, fork-over, and the highest price in the range; best when operators frequently move between stations and powered travel reduces fatigue or improves throughput.

Where Commonly Used:

The SELFRA 1003 is used in operations where rotators are used constantly throughout the shift and powered drive reduces fatigue over long floor distances, in facilities feeding elevated workbenches or conveyor infeed at mid-height, and in high-cycle picking, filling, and sorting operations where powered travel improves throughput between stations.

Buying Guide

Powered drive is the single most expensive step in this entire product family, adding more than half again to the price versus the manual-push ELFRA 1001. Our Reel Lifts & Rotators guide walks through the full four-function ladder, lift, push, rotation, and clamping, so you can see exactly which upgrade is worth paying for before powered drive.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How does the SELFRA 1003 compare with the ELFRA 1001 and ELFSRA 1001?

All three share the same 31.5- to 48-inch adjustable box holder range, fork dimensions, 36- to 75-inch lift height range, and 2,200-pound capacity. The difference is the drive and leg style. The ELFRA 1001 is a powered lift with manual push in a fork-over design and the lowest price of the three. The ELFSRA 1001 is a powered lift with manual push on straddle legs, handling all pallet types. The SELFRA 1003 adds powered drive to the fork-over design and carries the highest price.

When is powered drive worth the added cost?

When operators move frequently between stations and travel distances are long enough that manual pushing adds up over a shift. It also suits high-cycle picking, filling, and sorting work where powered travel affects throughput. If the rotator stays within a short radius of one station, the manual push ELFRA 1001 does the same lifting and tilting for less.

What pallets does the fork-over design handle?

Standard four-way pallets, open-bottom pallets, and skids. Closed-bottom pallets are not compatible. Verify your pallet inventory before ordering, since this specification most often sends buyers to the straddle-leg ELFSRA 1001 instead.

What are the five models, and what separates them?

Maximum lift height only. The 1003-36, 1003-47, 1003-55, 1003-63, and 1003-75 reach 36, 47, 55, 63, and 75 inches. All five carry 2,200 pounds to their full rated height and use the same 49 inch fork length. The page notes intended applications for each: floor to standard work surface at 36 inches, elevated workbenches and conveyor infeed at 47, taller workstations and elevated staging at 55, rotation access above standard height at 63, and overhead conveyors or elevated discharge points at 75.

What box widths does the adjustable holder accept?

Widths from 31.5 to 48 inches, set with a single handle and no tools. Confirm that every box and crate in the operation falls within that range before ordering, since it is fixed across all five models.
