Pucel Heavy Duty Industrial Storage Cabinet

Pucel heavy-duty industrial storage cabinets are built from 12-gauge steel sides with 14-gauge reinforced shelves and bottom, providing a high-capacity, all-welded steel cabinet suited to demanding industrial storage applications. Shelves are rated at 1,500 pounds each and adjust on 4" centers, allowing the interior layout to be reconfigured as storage needs change. Each model includes one fixed shelf plus a specified number of adjustable shelves depending on cabinet height.

Two widths (36" and 48"), two depths (19" and 24"), and five height options (48", 60", 72", 78", and 84") cover the lineup. The 84" tall models are the tallest in the Pucel cabinet lineup, providing additional organized vertical storage beyond what the 78" Super Heavy Duty series offers. All models are fully welded.

The 1,500-pound shelf capacity positions these cabinets between the Pucel Bi-Fold and Double Door series (300-1,000-pound shelves) and the Pucel Super Heavy Duty series (2,000-pound shelves), suited to operations where heavy storage is needed but the maximum-capacity 2,000-pound rating is not required.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Width, 36" vs. 48": The 36" wide models suit standard wall runs and tighter bay positions. The 48" wide models provide more shelf surface per unit for operations that store wider items or prefer fewer cabinet units per storage run.

♦ Depth, 19" vs. 24": The 19" depth minimizes the front-to-back footprint for positions with limited clearance. The 24" depth provides more shelf interior for deeper items, larger bins, and equipment that needs additional front-to-back room.

♦ Height: Five options span the lineup. The 48" tall models (2 shelves total) suit under-window and counter-height positions. The 60" and 72" tall models (3 shelves total) provide a middle-height option with more vertical storage. The 78" and 84" tall models (4 shelves total) are full-height floor-standing cabinets for maximum organized capacity. The 84" tall models are particularly suited to facilities with high ceilings where full-height wall-mounted storage runs need to be as tall as possible.

♦ 1,500 pounds per shelf: With up to four shelves at 1,500 pounds each, the fully loaded maximum per 4-shelf cabinet is 6,000 pounds. Verify the floor load capacity before deploying fully loaded tall models in locations subject to structural weight limits.

♦ 12-gauge sides, 14-gauge shelves, and bottom: The heavier 12-gauge side walls and reinforced 14-gauge shelf construction provide structural rigidity and shelf strength that resist deflection under sustained heavy loads, at a higher specification than many standard industrial cabinets in this category.

♦ 4" shelf adjustment centers: Shelves reposition in 4" increments. Consistent with the Super Heavy Duty series and sufficient for most storage reconfiguration needs.

♦ Tool Cribs: Organized locking storage for heavy tooling and fixtures in a tool crib environment where 1,500-pound shelves handle the range of items issued without deflection or structural concern.

♦ Tall-Ceiling Installations: The 84" tall models are appropriate for facilities with high ceilings where maximizing vertical storage height in a floor-standing locked cabinet is a priority, and the standard 78" format leaves usable vertical space unused.
