Pucel clear acrylic door industrial storage cabinets are the visible-door version of the Pucel Heavy Duty HDSC series. The construction is identical: 12-gauge sides, 14-gauge reinforced shelves and bottom, adjustable shelves on 4" centers, all-welded, keyed handle, ships fully assembled. The difference is in the doors -- these cabinets use clear acrylic panels instead of solid steel doors, so contents are visible from outside without opening the cabinet.

At 1,500 pounds per shelf, this is the highest-capacity visual storage cabinet in the CustomMHS lineup, substantially above the 200 pounds per shelf of the Parent Metal visual cabinet and the 1,450 pounds per shelf of the Hallowell DuraTough Safety View. It is the right choice when both content visibility and heavy-duty load capacity are required in the same cabinet.

Two widths (36" and 48"), two depths (19" and 24"), and five heights (48", 60", 72", 78", and 84") make up the 20-model lineup, matching the size range of the standard Pucel Heavy Duty series exactly. All models include one fixed shelf, with additional adjustable shelves scaling with cabinet height.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Width, 36" vs. 48": The 36" models suit standard wall runs and installations where cabinet width is constrained. The 48" models provide more shelf surface per unit. Shelf capacity is consistent at 1,500 pounds per shelf across both widths.

♦ Depth, 19" vs. 24": The 19" depth minimizes front-to-back footprint for positions with limited clearance. The 24" depth provides more interior shelf space for deeper containers, larger items, and equipment that needs additional front-to-back room.

♦ Height and shelf count: The 48" tall models include 2 total shelves (1 fixed, 1 adjustable). The 60" tall models include 3 total shelves (1 fixed, 2 adjustable). The 72" and 78" tall models each include 4 total shelves (1 fixed, 3 adjustable). The 84" tall models also include 4 total shelves and are the tallest option in the lineup, suited to high-ceiling installations where maximum vertical storage height is a priority.

Choose the clear acrylic door version when content visibility is required for inventory management, audits, or shift-change accountability. Choose the standard solid-door version when visibility is not needed and a lower price point is preferred.
