Quantum Quick Pick Plastic Bins

Quantum Quick Pick bins are the only bins in this lineup with open hopper fronts on both sides accessible from the front and back simultaneously. This double-sided design is built specifically for flow rack systems, back-to-back shelving, and shared pick lines where workers approach storage from both sides of the shelf. In these configurations, a standard single-access bin requires workers on one side to reach around or reposition the bin to access it. The Quick Pick bin eliminates that entirely.

Heavy-duty polypropylene construction. Molded-in label slots on both the front and back support standardized identification from either access point. The bins stack vertically and crosswise, and nest when empty, reducing space during transport or reconfiguration. Two optional divider types cross stack dividers (CD-prefix) and length dividers (LD-prefix) can be used individually to create 2 compartments or together to create up to 4 compartments per bin. 

Selecting the Right Bin:

♦ Size selection, use outside dimensions as the starting point, and confirm shelf clearance and flow rack compatibility. Inside dimensions are not currently listed in the product table. Contact CustomMHS to verify usable interior clearance for the specific part before ordering. Six sizes range from 9-1/2" long to 18-1/2" long.

♦ Double-sided access is the defining feature; the Quick Pick bin provides hopper access from both the front and back. If the storage system is accessed from only one side, a standard single-front bin is the appropriate and more economical choice. Choose the Quick Pick only when double-sided access is a genuine workflow requirement.

♦ Cross-stack dividers vs. length dividers, the CD-prefix cross-stack dividers run front-to-back, dividing the bin into a left section and a right section when viewed from the front. The LD-prefix length dividers run side-to-side, dividing the bin into front and back sections. Used together, one cross-stack divider and one length divider create four-quadrant compartments within a single bin. Order both divider types for the same bin model to achieve maximum compartmentalization.

♦ Stack and nest, bins stack when in use for storage density and nest when empty for compact handling. 

♦ Color options, blue, yellow, and red are available. 

♦ Carton quantities, the four smaller models (QP965, QP1265, QP1285, QP1496) ship 20 per carton. The two longer models (QP1867, QP1887) ship 10 per carton. All divider models ship 10 per carton. Prices are per carton.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Flow Rack Pick Lines, warehouses, and distribution centers using gravity flow rack systems load inventory from the back and pick from the front. The Quick Pick bin's back access allows replenishment workers to load from behind, while pickers simultaneously access it from the front without interference or delay.

♦ Back-to-Back Shelving Systems, storage systems with shelving units positioned back-to-back so workers can access both sides. Use Quick Pick bins to make inventory accessible from both approaches without rotating or repositioning bins.

♦ Assembly Line Material Staging, assembly lines where material handlers replenish parts from behind the line, while assemblers pick from the front, use Quick Pick bins to maintain continuous flow. The handler loads from the back, the assembler picks from the front, no handoff or interruption required.

♦ Kitting and Order Fulfillment Shared Stations: kitting stations or order fulfillment positions where two workers share a bin station simultaneously from opposite sides, use Quick Pick bins so both workers can access parts at the same time without waiting for the other to step away.

♦ Maintenance Parts Dispensing Counters, parts counter positions where the attendant replenishes bins from behind the counter and the customer or requester accesses from the counter face, use Quick Pick bins to allow restocking from the back without disturbing the pick face at the front.
