Rousseau Mobile Workbench

Rousseau Industrial Mobile Workbench – Heavy-Duty Rolling Bench with Total-Lock Casters

The Rousseau Industrial Mobile Workbench is built for teams that need a durable workstation that can move with the work. Whether supporting assembly cells, maintenance, kitting, inspection, or shipping and receiving, this rolling bench provides a stable work surface that relocates quickly without sacrificing rigidity.

It is equipped with a strong base using two workbench legs and a caster package designed for control: two 4-inch rigid casters and two 4-inch swivel casters with a Total-Lock Brake System to keep the bench planted when it is time to work. A reinforcing stringer adds strength, and the top material can be chosen to fit the environment, whether steel for rugged durability, laminate for everyday versatility, or acrylic/PVC for specialized applications.

Selection Guide:

♦ Size 60" W, 30"D, 35"H: available in Painted Steel (WSW1031), Laminated Wood (WSW2031), Plastic Laminated (WSW3031), and Acrylic/PVC Plastic Laminated (WSW9031)
♦ Size 72" W, 30"D, 35"H: available in Painted Steel (WSW1035), Laminated Wood (WSW2035), Plastic Laminated (WSW3035), and Acrylic/PVC Plastic Laminated (WSW9035)
♦ Size 72" W, 36"D, 35"H: available in Painted Steel (WSW1039), Laminated Wood (WSW2039), Plastic Laminated (WSW3039), and Acrylic/PVC Plastic Laminated (WSW9039)

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Top surface, painted steel suits rugged, high-impact use, laminated wood suits everyday general-purpose work, plastic laminate adds chemical and stain resistance, and acrylic/PVC suits specialized or cleanroom-adjacent applications.
♦ Size, 60"W is suited to tighter work cells, while 72"W models with either 30" or 36" depth suit larger assembly or kitting stations that need more surface area.
♦ Mobility needs: the Total-Lock Brake System on all models allows the bench to roll into place and lock down securely, so selection comes down to top material and footprint rather than mobility features.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Assembly Cells: teams use the mobile design to reposition the workbench as production lines are reconfigured.
♦ Maintenance Departments, technicians roll the bench directly to the point of repair for on-site work.
♦ Kitting and Inspection Stations: The configurable top surface supports parts kitting and quality inspection tasks.
♦ Shipping and Receiving facilities use the rolling bench to stage and process incoming or outgoing materials near the dock.
