Strong Hold 4-Drawer Wardrobe Cabinet
Strong Hold 4-Drawer Wardrobe Cabinets | Hanging Rod Plus 4 Heavy-Duty Drawers
Strong Hold 4-drawer wardrobe cabinets divide the interior into two purpose-built sections: the left side holds an adjustable shelf and a hanger rod for coats, uniforms, PPE, and personal gear; the right side holds four heavy-duty drawers rated at 400 pounds each, with adjustable shelves above and below the drawer stack for larger items that don't fit in drawers. All sections share a single 3-point locking system with a padlock hasp.
The 400-pound-per-drawer rating is the defining spec. Most wardrobe-style cabinets pair the hanging section with lighter-duty shelving or low-capacity drawers suited to personal items. These drawers are rated for heavy industrial tooling wrenches, impact tools, spare parts, and dense components that would overload standard drawer cabinetry. All-welded 12-gauge construction throughout, with 6" welded legs.
Four models span three widths (36", 48", 60") and two heights (60" and 72" nominal, or 66" and 78" OAH including legs). All are 24" deep and ship fully assembled.

♦ 46-W-244-4DB-PB: 48" wide x 24" deep x 72" high (78" OAH). 4 drawers at 400 pounds each. 4 shelves total. Hanger rod. 3-point locking with padlock hasp. 6" welded legs.
♦ 56-W-244-4DB-PB: 60" wide x 24" deep x 72" high (78" OAH). 4 drawers at 400 pounds each. 3 shelves total. Hanger rod. 3-point locking with padlock hasp. 6" welded legs.
Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width: The 36"-wide model is the most compact, suited to a single-person workstation or tight bay positions. The 48" wide model adds lateral space in both the wardrobe and drawer sections. The 60"-wide model is the widest available, providing the most hanger rod length and the widest drawer interiors for organizing a larger tool set.
♦ Height, 60" vs. 72" nominal: The 60"-high 48"-wide model (45-W-243-4DB-PB, 66" OAH) includes 3 total shelves and suits positions with lower overhead clearance. The 72"-high models (78" OAH) include 4 shelves.
♦ 400-pound-per-drawer capacity: This drawer rating is identical to that of the Strong Hold On-Site See-Thru cabinet (the only other drawer cabinet in this catalog with confirmed capacity data at that level). It is appropriate for storing heavy hand tools, impact wrenches, dense parts kits, and bulky consumables in a locked drawer format. If the items being stored are lighter-duty and drawer capacity is not a concern, the Pucel wardrobe cabinet with 3 or 4 drawers is a lower-priced alternative.
♦ Shelves above and below the drawers: The adjustable shelves flanking the drawer section handle items that don't fit in drawers, helmets, power tools, boxed supplies, and parts kits, while keeping the drawers reserved for the organized small-item inventory that benefits most from categorized drawer storage.
♦ Single locking system for both sections: One 3-point lock with padlock hasp secures the wardrobe and drawer sections simultaneously under a single key. This simplifies access for the authorized user while ensuring both sections are secured in shared environments.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Skilled Trades Workstations, machinists, pipefitters, electricians, and other trades workers who carry a large organized hand tool set in the drawers, keep larger tools and parts on the shelves, and store their issued coveralls or shop coat on the hanger rod all in one locked cabinet at their primary work position.
♦ Maintenance Technician Home Bases, maintenance workers responsible for multiple machines who need their full organized tool kit in the drawers alongside spare parts and supplies on the shelves, with a covered position for their safety vest and PPE on the hanger rod.
♦ Fleet and Vehicle Service Operations, service technicians who store organized specialty tools in the drawers, larger diagnostic equipment and parts on the shelves, and issue coveralls or shop coats on the hanger rod, with a single locked cabinet covering their complete daily kit.
♦ Industrial Operations with Issued PPE and Tool Accountability, facilities where workers are issued both a specific tool kit and specific PPE, and where the tool kit and PPE must be stored together in a locked, accountable position at shift end, benefit from the wardrobe and drawer combination in a single keyed unit.
♦ Multi-Shift Tool Control, environments where outgoing and incoming shifts exchange an organized, fully accounted cabinet with each drawer containing the expected tools and the hanger rod holding the expected garments, benefit from the defined structure these cabinets impose on combined gear and tool storage accountability.
