Strong Hold Mini Tier Solid Door Lockers

Strong Hold Mini Tier Lockers with solid doors

Strong Hold Mini Tier Solid Door Lockers | 12-Gauge Steel, 18" Wide Compartments

Strong Hold Mini Tier solid-door lockers provide compact, individually secured cube storage in an all-welded 12-gauge steel construction. Each compartment is an 18" x 18" x 18" cube with its own solid steel door and 3-point locking system with a padlock-ready hasp, so every user's contents are independently secured regardless of what is happening in adjacent compartments. Three compartments stack per column, and units are sold in 2, 3, 4, and 5-column configurations at 62" tall (68" overall assembly height on 6"-tall 7-gauge welded legs).

The cube format suits tools, electronics, PPE, personal items, and small equipment that do not require the larger opening or coat hooks of the Standard Locker. The 18" depth is notably shallower than the Standard Locker's 24" depth, making the Mini Tier appropriate for facilities with tighter floor space. The welded leg base allows a forklift or pallet jack to move the unit when storage areas are reconfigured.

♦ 75-18-3TMT: 82" wide x 18" deep x 62" high (68" OAH). 5 columns, 15 compartments total. 3-point lock with padlock hasp per compartment. Unit weight: 828 pounds.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Number of compartments needed: Each column provides 3 compartments. The 2-column unit provides 6 total, the 3-column provides 9, the 4-column provides 12, and the 5-column provides 15. Select based on the number of users to be assigned individual compartments. Multiple units can be installed side by side to scale capacity.

♦ Mini Tier vs. Standard Locker: The Mini Tier 18" cube is significantly smaller per compartment than the Standard Locker's 21-1/2" wide x 32-3/4" high opening. The Standard Locker also includes adjustable shelves and coat hooks, making it suited to workers who store clothing, large PPE, and a full tool set. The Mini Tier is suited to workers who need a compact, individually locked space for a partial tool set, personal items, electronics, or smaller equipment that fits in an 18" cube.

♦ 18" depth vs. 24" depth: The Mini Tier at 18" deep has a smaller floor footprint per unit than the Standard Lockers at 24" deep. In facilities where locker room or aisle depth is constrained, the Mini Tier provides more compartments per linear foot of floor space.

♦ Forklift mobility: The 6" 7-gauge welded legs allow a forklift or pallet jack to reposition the unit when needed. This is useful for facilities that reconfigure storage areas periodically or that need to move lockers between shifts or departments without disassembling or hand-carrying the unit.

♦ 3-point locking with padlock hasp per compartment: Each compartment's lock engages at three points and accepts a separately keyed padlock. Individual users can provide their own padlocks for complete personal key control, with no master key held by the facility unless one is specifically issued.

♦ Unit weight in installation planning: Weights range from 269 pounds (2-column) to 828 pounds (5-column). Verify floor load capacity before installing multiple units in the same area, particularly on elevated slabs.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Personal Electronics and Small Equipment Storage: Workers who bring tablets, phones, personal tools, or small diagnostic equipment to a shift benefit from an individually locked 18" cube that secures these items without requiring a full-size locker assignment.

♦ Shared Workspaces with Many Users: In facilities with a high employee-to-locker ratio, the cube format provides more individual secured storage positions per unit width than full-height lockers, allowing more workers to have assigned locked storage in a smaller floor area.

♦ Tool and PPE Storage at Point of Use: Placing a Mini Tier locker bank near a production area, maintenance station, or entry point where workers can secure their personal tools and PPE for the shift without traveling to a remote locker room.

♦ Secured Charging and Device Storage: The 18" cube depth accommodates most tablets, radios, barcode scanners, and handheld devices for secured charging storage between shifts in a locked compartment rather than a shared unsecured charging station.

♦ Visitor and Contractor Secured Storage: Facilities where contractors or visitors need temporary secured storage for personal belongings, tools, or equipment during on-site work benefit from the individual padlock-ready hasp that allows each person to provide their own lock without facility key management.

♦ Supplemental Storage in Existing Locker Rooms: Adding a Mini Tier bank alongside existing full-height lockers to provide additional small-item secured storage for a growing workforce, without replacing the existing locker layout or requiring the floor space of additional full-height units.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are Strong Hold Mini Tier Lockers designed for?
These lockers provide secure, compact storage for industrial facilities, workshops, and maintenance areas. Each 18 inch cube compartment is ideal for tools, PPE, electronics, personal items, and small equipment. The design maximizes vertical space without taking up a large footprint. They are built for environments where durability and security are equally important.
How durable are these mini tier lockers in industrial settings?
Constructed from heavy-duty 12-gauge steel, the lockers are engineered to handle rough daily use. The rigid structure resists denting, bending, and long-term wear in high-traffic environments. Solid steel doors provide added strength and privacy. This level of construction far exceeds typical light-duty locker systems.
How does the 3-point locking system improve security?
Each compartment features a 3-point locking system with a padlock-ready hasp. This design secures the door at multiple points, reducing the risk of forced entry. Individual locking per compartment allows multiple users to store items securely. Reliable access control supports accountability in shared spaces.
Why are welded steel legs an important feature?
The lockers are mounted on 6-inch, 7-gauge welded steel legs for added stability. The raised design keeps the unit clear of dust, moisture, and debris. It also allows forklifts or pallet jacks to move the unit when needed. This combination of stability and mobility adds practical value in industrial facilities.
Where do these lockers perform best?
They are ideal for warehouses, production floors, maintenance departments, and industrial shops. Any facility that needs rugged, space-efficient personal or tool storage will benefit. Their compact cube design makes them suitable for areas where floor space is limited. For demanding environments, they deliver secure and long-lasting performance.
Is the manufacturer’s warranty included with my purchase?
Yes. All products sold on CustomMHS.com include the original manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise noted. Custom MHS is an authorized dealer for the brands we carry, which means your purchase is covered by the manufacturer's full factory warranty.
