Strong Hold Plus Double Shift Storage Cabinet: Rugged Dual-Access Steel Storage for Multi-Shift Workspaces

The Strong Hold Plus Double Shift Storage Cabinet merges two product concepts into one unit: the dual independently locking compartments of the Double Shift series, and the built-in organizational features of the Plus Single Shift series. Each compartment has its own lock and can be secured independently, keeping two shifts or departments from accessing each other's equipment. And unlike the standard Double Shift cabinet, each Plus model ships with shelf dividers, shelf labels, an exterior cabinet identification label, and an interior dry-erase board on each side, giving users of each compartment a built-in system for organization and shift-to-shift communication.

Construction is 12-gauge all-welded steel throughout, laser-cut and formed before welding. The cabinet ships fully assembled. All models are 72" tall with a 78" overall assembly height and 24" deep. Three widths are confirmed in the lineup: 36", 48", and 60". A fourth model (CAB000009) is listed at 60" wide but carries a different capacity and pricing from CAB000008. Verify with Strong Hold before ordering if considering that model.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Width and shelf capacity: The 36"-wide model carries 950 pounds per shelf, the highest in this lineup. The 48"-wide model carries 600 pounds per shelf, the lowest -- verify this is adequate for the items to be stored before selecting. The 60"-wide model (CAB000008) carries 825 pounds per shelf.

♦ Plus organizational features vs. standard Double Shift: The Plus Double Shift includes shelf dividers, shelf labels, a cabinet ID label, and a dry-erase board that the standard Double Shift series does not include. The standard Double Shift is the appropriate choice when the organizational features are not needed and a lower price point is the priority. The Plus is appropriate when built-in organization, visual management, and shift communication matter as much as the dual-compartment access control.

♦ Dry-erase board per compartment: The interior dry-erase board allows each shift to leave notes about inventory levels, missing items, tasks, or shift-specific information directly inside their own compartment, tied to the storage they are responsible for.
