The Wesco 240157 Power Lift–Power Drive Drum Handler (DM-1100-PLD) is built for high-volume drum workflows where manual pushing and slow handling kill productivity. This Wesco-exclusive, patent-pending Gator Grip design safely grips and moves most 30, 55, or 85-gallon steel, fiber, and poly drums, then lifts and places them onto spill pallets or standard pallets—all with reduced operator strain and improved control.

The signature Auto Grip Lock automatically locks the jaws closed, delivering a secure hold even when traveling over uneven floors. A spring-loaded clamp fits drums with rim thickness of 3/16" or greater, including most locking-ring drums. Operators don’t need to touch the drum to clamp or handle it, minimizing pinch-point exposure.

This model adds a major throughput advantage: power drive with travel speed up to 120 feet per minute, plus power lift with remote Up/Down control for precise placement.
