Akro-Mils 30-Series AkroBins are open-front, stackable plastic bins for organizing small parts at the point of use. The open front lets you see and reach the contents without lifting the bin off its shelf. Each bin stacks on bins of the same or a compatible size, and most 30-Series bins also hang on louvered panels for wall or mobile panel storage. You can reposition bins on a panel in seconds without tools.

Inside dimensions decide what the bin can actually hold, so check both. A good rule is to size each bin for roughly two to four weeks of consumption of the part it holds.

Plan the stack as well as the bin. Plastic creeps, so a bin held over its rating for weeks can deform permanently even if it never cracks, and stacks should sit on level surfaces only. A few cover more than one bin: the 40230 fits the 30230, 30235, and 30255, and the 40245 fits both the 30240 and 30250. The 41230 is a width divider for the 30230 only. Order the divider that matches the bin model rather than assuming compatibility across sizes.
