Akro-Mils economy small parts bins offer practical stack-and-nest storage for warehouses, workshops, and maintenance areas where a large number of bins are needed at a controlled cost. The stack-and-nest design solves a common bin management problem: when full, the bins stack securely for stable shelf storage and parts staging; when empty, they nest inside each other to minimize the floor and shelf space taken up by empties during return or replenishment cycles.

One-piece molded plastic construction resists water, rust, corrosion, and exposure to weak acids and alkalis. Five sizes cover a range of footprints across two lengths (11-7/8" and 17-7/8") and three width/height combinations. Prices are per carton of 8 or 10 bins. No divider or lid accessories are available for this series.

Selecting the Right Bin:

♦ Size: Use the outside dimensions to verify the bin fits the shelf opening, rack slot, or cart position. 

♦ Width, 6-5/8" vs. 8-3/8", the narrower 6-5/8" width suits shelf positions with limited front-to-back depth or when more bins need to fit side by side in a given shelf width. The 8-3/8" width provides more interior volume for parts that need additional side-to-side space.

♦ Height, 5" vs. 7", the 5"-high models suit shallow shelf positions and smaller parts. The 7"-high models (30776 and 30778) are only available in the 17-7/8" length and provide more vertical clearance for taller parts or higher-volume bin positions.

♦ Stack-and-nest vs. standard open-front bins, the standard 30-Series AkroBins are open-front stackable bins optimized for shelf storage with louvered panel compatibility and a wide range of accessories. The economy bins are stack-nest containers without open-front access -- contents are accessed from the top when the bin is used as a standalone container, not from a shelf-mounted open-front position. Choose the 30-Series for open-front shelf and louvered panel applications with accessory compatibility. Choose the economy bins for high-quantity deployments where stack-nest space savings during empty bin management are a priority and accessories are not needed.

♦ Carton quantities and pricing, 30796, 30716, and 30776 ship in cartons of 10. 30718 and 30778 ship in cartons of 8. All prices are per carton. Calculate the number of cartons needed based on the total required bin count.

♦ No accessories, no dividers, lids, or window inserts are available for the economy bin series. If subdivided storage within a bin is needed, the 30-Series AkroBins with compatible dividers are the appropriate alternative.
