Akro-Mils Akro-Grid Dividable Plastic Boxes for Small Parts
Akro-Grid boxes have molded internal slots that accept dividers, so you can split one container into compartments for several part numbers instead of dedicating a bin to each. A single box can hold a full assembly kit, a family of fasteners, or a group of low-volume SKUs in clearly separated sections. Dividers pull out and move, so the layout changes with the inventory rather than forcing a new container.
The open top keeps contents visible for counting and picking, and the solvent-resistant polypropylene withstands industrial handling and washdown. Eight models cover three footprints in depths from 3" to 8". All are sold by the carton.
Selecting the Right Box:
♦ Small footprint, 10-7/8" x 8-1/4": one model at 5" deep, for shallow parts and high-density shelving where vertical space is tight.
♦ Mid footprint, 16-1/2" x 10-7/8": 4", 6", and 8" depths. The 4" suits flat hardware and gaskets, 6" covers most general fastener work, and 8" handles longer bolts and taller parts.
♦ Large footprint, 22-3/8" x 17-3/8": 3", 4", 6", and 8" depths. The shallow pair spreads many small SKUs across a wide surface, while the deeper pair adds volume per compartment for kitting.
♦ Depth drives carton count: shallower models ship more units per carton, so compare carton price against the per-container cost for the depth you need.
