Why Use This Product
The 30636 is the 30618 doubled in length. It is 19 inches tall, like the 30618, and rated at the same 160 pounds, but it runs 35-3/4 inches long, so each panel holds twice the bins: 32 of the small 30210 against 16. That length fits along a standard 3 foot bench or above a run of shelving, where a full-height panel would block the wall. It is also the shortest panel that takes all 15 AkroBin sizes Akro-Mils lists for its louvered panels, including the 33 inch wide 30320. With four panels in a carton, one order can equip a row of benches with the same layout at each one.
Key Features Explained
◆ Full-Width Louvers: AkroBin hangers drop into any louver along the panel, so bins move or change size with no tools as the part mix changes.
◆ 16-Gauge Cold-Rolled Steel: Heavy-gauge steel gives the panel its strength and durability.
◆ Powder-Coated Finish: A gray powder coat finishes the steel for long service in shop and production settings.
◆ 160 Pound Rating: The rating covers everything hanging on the panel. Add up the weight of the loaded bins, because Akro-Mils notes that a rack’s capacity can be less than the combined capacity of the bins on it.
◆ Built for AkroBins and InSight Bins: All 15 AkroBin sizes Akro-Mils lists for its louvered panels fit, from the 30210 to the 30270 and the 30320.
Best-Fit Use Cases
◆ Assembly Benches: A full row of components above a 3 foot bench, at the point of use.
◆ Work Cells: Matching panels at each station, so every operator works from the same bin layout.
◆ Maintenance Shops: Spares and consumables kept visible on the wall above a workbench.
◆ Packing Stations: Labels, tape and small supplies hung within reach, keeping the work surface clear.
