Edge Kadon Heavy Duty Stack and Nest Containers

Kadon Stack-Nest Containers

Edge Kadon Heavy Duty Stack and Nest Containers – Durable, Space-Saving Industrial Totes

Edge Kadon heavy-duty stack and nest containers are industrial-grade totes built for the repeated handling demands of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution environments. They stack securely when loaded to protect contents and maintain stable loads during storage and transport, then nest compactly when empty to reduce return freight cube and reclaim floor space in staging and storage lanes.

Three models are available across three footprint sizes, with capacities ranging from 150 to 200 lbs. Prices are shown individually by manufacturer model number for straightforward competitor comparison.

Choosing the Right Model:

All three models share the same stack and nest functionality. Select based on the outside dimensions that best fit your shelving, conveyor, pallet, or vehicle configuration, then confirm the inside dimensions suit your load size.

♦ HS2213060010 -- 22" x 13" outside, 6" deep, 16" x 11" x 5" inside, 150 lb capacity. The smallest and shallowest model. Best for lighter loads, flat parts, or operations with limited vertical clearance on shelving or conveyors.
♦ HS24160900010 -- 24" x 16" outside, 9" deep, 17.5" x 12.75" x 8.75" inside, 200 lb capacity. Mid-size model with the widest inside clearance of the three. Best for broader loads that need more lateral room per container.
♦ HS2817090010 -- 28" x 17" outside, 8.75" deep, 22" x 14" x 8" inside, 200 lb capacity. Longest model in the range. Best for longer parts or operations that need the most internal length per container at the same depth as the 24" model.

Where Edge Kadon Stack and Nest Containers Are Most Commonly Used:

♦ Parts and merchandise storage -- Heavy-duty construction protects contents during repeated handling cycles in stockrooms, tool cribs, and parts storage areas where standard corrugated cartons fail prematurely.
♦ Manufacturing and work-in-process -- Move components between work cells in containers that stack cleanly on carts and conveyors and nest when returned empty, keeping the production floor clear without dedicated empty container storage space.
♦ Distribution and closed-loop shipping, Reusable construction, and nest-when-empty efficiency support programs in which containers cycle between facilities. Nesting on the return leg reduces trailer cube and lowers per-cycle freight cost compared to returning empties stacked full height.
♦ Warehouse picking and staging -- Consistent footprints and stable stacking allow totes to be used across multiple pick, pack, and staging workflows without container mismatch or instability issues.

Compare nest ratios before you buy. At 4:1 (example), 400 empty totes fit in the space of 100, saving floor space and return freight.
