The BioFit FL-Series Sewn-Seams Static-Control Chairs are engineered for superior comfort and reliable static control. Featuring a larger, ergonomically designed seat with sewn seams, these chairs minimize compression of the cushion foam, enhancing both comfort and appearance, making them ideal for environments where static discharge poses a risk, such as electronic manufacturing or laboratories.

Every component of a BioFit static control chair is grounded to the base to ensure continuity. Each chair includes a drag chain and conductive glides or casters to maintain a clear path to the ground, even over insulating dirt. A spring-loaded contact ball-bearing assembly within the pneumatic seat-height adjustment mechanism provides continuous grounding from the backrest and seat to the base, a setup unique to BioFit.

The backrest measures 15.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches high, outfitted with lumbar support and a protective plastic panel. The ergonomic, saddle-shaped seat measures 21 inches wide by 19 inches deep and is 3 inches thick, featuring sewn seams, a waterfall front, and an internal seat board bumper guard. Upholstery is available in conductive or static-control vinyl or cloth. Controls include Task Control Soft Touch for easy seat height adjustments, a fixed rearward seat tilt of 3-1/2 degrees, and backrest tilt and height adjustments. Metal parts are chrome-plated, and the chair supports up to 350 pounds.

To find your ideal seat height, subtract 12 inches from your work surface height. Use that number as the mid-point of the seat height adjustment range you choose. This formula fits most workers, and BioFit's range of adjustment options accommodates the rest.

Selection Guide:

♦ S-Base, 23" diameter tubular steel base with a 21" diameter affixed footring: available in Low (18" to 22"), Medium (21" to 28"), or High (25" to 32") seat height
♦ A-Base, 25.6" diameter cast aluminum base: available in Low (17" to 22"), Medium (19" to 26"), or High (22" to 32") seat height
♦ W-Base, 28.7" diameter wide aluminum base: available in Low (17" to 22"), Medium (19" to 26"), or High (22" to 32") seat height

♦ Base style, the S-Base with footring suits users who like a place to rest their feet, while the A-Base and W-Base offer wider stability without a footring.
