The HC-Series Sewn Seams Static Control Chair features a larger seat and premium upholstery with sewn seams, designed to minimize foam compression and enhance comfort, performance, and aesthetics. This chair is engineered explicitly for static-sensitive environments, incorporating advanced grounding techniques. Each chair is fully grounded to its base to maintain electrical continuity and prevent static buildup. Every chair is equipped with a drag chain and the option of conductive glides or casters to provide a reliable path to the ground, even over insulating dirt.

Unique to BioFit, a spring-loaded contact ball-bearing assembly within the pneumatic seat-height adjustment mechanism ensures uninterrupted conductivity from the top of the backrest and seat to the base, safeguarding against potential disruptions caused by static electricity.

The ergonomic seat measures 18.5 inches wide by 17 inches deep and 3 inches thick, featuring sewn seams, a waterfall front for enhanced leg comfort, and an internal seat board bumper guard. The backrest is 18 inches wide by 19 inches high, providing lumbar support and further enhanced with sewn seams and a protective plastic panel.

The base of the chair features a high-profile Euro-look with a T-shaped construction that adds strength and facilitates easy cleaning. Upholstery options include conductive or static-control vinyl or cloth, tailored to meet specific environmental needs. Control features include Task Control Soft Touch with adjustable pneumatic seat height, a fixed rearward seat tilt of 3.5 degrees, and customizable backrest tilt and height settings. Metal components are chrome-plated for durability and aesthetic appeal. This chair supports a weight capacity of up to 350 pounds.
