BioFit HL-Series Static Control Chair

The HL-Series Sewn Seams Static Control Chair features sewn-seam upholstery to minimize foam compression and enhance long-term user comfort. Every part of a BioFit static control chair is grounded to the base, and every chair includes a drag chain along with conductive glides or casters, since dirt acts as an insulator that can disrupt continuity.

A spring-loaded contact ball bearing assembly within the pneumatic seat-height adjustment mechanism is unique to BioFit. This ball bearing rides against the inner cylinder of the pneumatic tool, ensuring continuity from the top of the backrest and seat through the pneumatic cylinder to the base.

The backrest measures 15.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches high with lumbar support, sewn seams, and a plastic protective panel. The ergonomic seat is 18.5 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 3 inches thick, with stitched seams, a waterfall front, and an internal seat board bumper guard. Upholstery is available in conductive or static-control vinyl or cloth. Controls come standard with Task Control Soft Touch pneumatic seat-height adjustment, a fixed rearward seat tilt of 3-1/2 degrees, and backrest tilt and height adjustment. Metal parts are chrome-plated, and the chair supports up to 350 pounds.

To find your ideal seat height, subtract 12 inches from your work surface height. Use that number as the mid-point of the seat height adjustment range you choose. This formula fits most workers, and BioFit's range of adjustment options accommodates the rest.
