Akro-Mils 19-Series Steel Storage Cabinets

Akro-Mils 19-Series steel storage cabinets pair a welded galvannealed steel body with high-impact polystyrene drawers. The galvannealed body resists corrosion and daily wear better than standard cold-rolled steel, and the powder coat adds a second layer of surface protection. The drawers shrug off chemicals, dents, and rust, and rear stop tabs keep them from pulling free of the cabinet.

Every drawer carries dovetailed slots that accept dividers for up to eight compartments, so one drawer can hold several part numbers instead of just one. All drawers are 10-9/16" deep. Five models run from 9 drawers up to 28, varying drawer width and height rather than depth. Cabinets stack, wall-mount, or sit on a shelf or under a bench.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Drawer count and size: the 19909 has the widest and tallest drawers at 5-3/16" x 3-1/16" for larger parts and small tools. The 19228 has the narrowest at 2-3/16" wide for fine hardware and maximum part number separation. The 19715, 19416, and 19320 sit between them.
♦ Divider sets: 40909, 40320, and 40228 match the 19909, 19320, and 19228 and subdivide each drawer into as many as eight compartments.
♦ Steel body or plastic: the 19-Series puts polystyrene drawers inside a welded steel housing, which holds up better in high-contact positions. Choose all-plastic Akro-Mils cabinets when weight and portability matter more.
♦ Stacking: all five models stack to build drawer count at one wall or bench position. Check vertical clearance before ordering multiples.
