The Amherst AM-Series Ergonomic Cleanroom Chair is designed to enhance user performance in cleanroom environments. The backrest measures 18 inches wide and 19 inches high, equipped with lumbar support and a protective plastic panel. The seat is contoured and saddle-shaped, 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and 3 inches thick, with a waterfall front and an internal seat board bumper guard for enhanced comfort.

Controls include Task Control Soft Touch for pneumatic seat-height adjustment, a fixed rearward seat tilt of 3-1/2 degrees, and options for backrest tilt and height adjustment. The chair features a high-profile, Euro-style base with a T-shaped construction for added strength and ease of cleaning and comes with dual-wheel, non-marring polyurethane casters that resist rolling when unoccupied. Alternative options include 2-inch-high polyamide glides, with other caster styles also available. Metal parts are chrome-plated for durability and a sleek appearance, and the chair supports up to 350 pounds.

♦ W-Base, 28.7" diameter wide aluminum base: available in Low (17" to 22"), Medium (19" to 26"), or High (22" to 32") seat height
