The Belize BE-Series Ergonomic Static Control Chair combines superior ergonomics with durability for long-term use. Every component of a BioFit static control chair is grounded to the base, and each chair is equipped with a drag chain and conductive glides or casters. This design mitigates the insulating effects of dirt accumulation, providing alternative grounding paths to maintain electrical continuity.

Unique to BioFit, a spring-loaded contact ball-bearing assembly in the pneumatic seat-height adjustment mechanism ensures reliable grounding from the top of the backrest and seat, through the pneumatic cylinder, to the base.

The backrest measures 15-1/2 inches wide by 14-1/2 inches high and features lumbar support and a protective plastic panel. The seat has a concave design measuring 18-1/2 inches wide by 16-1/2 inches deep by 3 inches thick, with an internal seat board bumper guard. Controls come standard with Task Control Soft Touch pneumatic seat-height adjustment, a fixed rearward seat tilt of 3-1/2 degrees, and backrest tilt and height adjustment. Casters and glides include dual-wheel, non-marring polyurethane casters that resist rolling when unoccupied, or optional 2-inch-high polyamide glides. Metal parts are chrome-plated, and the chair supports up to 350 pounds.

To find your ideal seat height, subtract 12 inches from your work surface height. Use that number as the mid-point of the seat height adjustment range you choose. This formula fits most workers, and BioFit's range of adjustment options accommodates the rest.

♦ S-Base, 23" diameter tubular steel base with a 21" diameter affixed footring: available in Low (18" to 22"), Medium (21" to 28"), or High (25" to 32") seat height
♦ A-Base, 25.6" diameter cast aluminum base: available in Low (17" to 22"), Medium (19" to 26"), or High (22" to 32") seat height
♦ W-Base, 28.7" diameter wide aluminum base: available in Low (17" to 22"), Medium (19" to 26"), or High (22" to 32") seat height
