MFG FIBRESTAT® Conductive Nest-Stack Containers | ESD-Safe Fiberglass Bins for Space-Saving Storage
MFG FIBRESTAT Conductive Nest-Stack Containers are ESD-safe fiberglass totes built for electronics manufacturing, component storage, and other applications where electrostatic discharge poses a risk to sensitive parts or assemblies. Conductive fiberglass construction safely dissipates static charges before they can damage electronic components while providing the same dimensional, temperature, and chemical stability as the standard MFG fiberglass nest-stack line.
These containers stack securely when loaded and nest with a simple 180-degree turn when empty, reducing storage footprint and return freight cube. They perform reliably across a temperature range of -60°F to 250°F -- well beyond what standard ESD plastic containers can handle -- making them appropriate for environments with oven exposure, cold storage, or significant temperature cycling.
Ten models are available in footprints from 17-7/8" to 42-1/2" long. No lids are listed on this page—contact us if you need lid options for your application. Prices are shown by manufacturer model number for straightforward competitor comparison.
What Makes These Containers ESD-Safe:
Standard plastic containers accumulate static charge during handling and movement. When that charge discharges to a sensitive component, it can cause latent or immediate damage that may not be detected until later in the production process. ESD-safe containers prevent that buildup by dissipating charge to ground through the conductive fiberglass material.
FIBRESTAT containers meet ESD control requirements for component storage, transport, and work-in-process handling in electronics manufacturing environments. If your facility operates under ESD control protocols (IEC 61340, ANSI/ESD S20.20, or similar standards), these containers are the appropriate choice over standard plastic or standard fiberglass options. Verify that your specific resistivity requirements are met against the MFG FIBRESTAT data sheet before ordering.
FIBRESTAT Conductive vs. Standard MFG Fiberglass -- Choosing the Right Series:
Both series use the same glass-reinforced thermoset fiberglass construction, nest-stack mechanism, and temperature rating. The conductive FIBRESTAT series adds ESD dissipation via a conductive additive in the fiberglass, which increases the price compared to standard (non-conductive) MFG fiberglass containers.
If your application does not involve ESD-sensitive components, the standard MFG fiberglass nest-stack series provides the same durability and temperature resistance at a lower cost. If ESD protection is required, the FIBRESTAT series is the correct selection. Do not substitute standard fiberglass containers for ESD-sensitive applications.
