MFG Fiberglass Conveyor and Assembly Trays

MFG Fiberglass Conveyor Assembly Trays – Industrial Strength Trays for Production & Handling

MFG fiberglass conveyor and assembly trays are flat-bottom, shallow-profile trays designed to carry parts smoothly through conveyor systems, indexing equipment, and automated handling lines. The flat bottom provides consistent contact with conveyor rails, rollers, and belts, preventing tipping and wobble that cause jams in high-cycle systems. Low wall heights keep parts accessible throughout the assembly or inspection process without lifting the tray.

Fiberglass construction provides the dimensional stability that plastic trays cannot match in conveyor environments where heat, repeated impact, and long service cycles cause deformation and warping. A tray that drifts out of tolerance over time causes misfeeds, jams, and downtime. These trays maintain their geometry across years of production and use.

Thirty-two models are available in footprints from 12-3/4" to 34-1/4" long and depths from 5/8" to 1-1/8". All are priced individually. Prices are shown by manufacturer model number for straightforward competitor comparison.

How to Select the Right Model:

♦ Conveyor tray selection is driven primarily by your conveyor or equipment specifications, not by general size preference. The key dimensions to confirm before ordering are:
♦ Outside length and width: must fit within your conveyor guide rails, indexer slots, or pallet stop positions without binding.
♦ Inside length and width determine the usable surface area for your parts. The inside dimensions on all models are roughly 1" to 1-1/2" narrower and shorter than the outside, which accounts for the wall thickness.
♦ Overall height: all models on this page are between 5/8" and 1-1/8" tall. Confirm this clears any overhead sensors, stops, or guides on your conveyor.

If you are selecting trays for an existing conveyor or automated assembly system, have your measurements of conveyor lane width, guide rail spacing, and tray stop position ready before contacting us.

If you are specifying trays for a new system, contact us at 866-333-0728 or use the quote form and we will help match the tray to your equipment.

Where MFG Conveyor Assembly Trays Are Most Commonly Used:

♦ Production and assembly lines -- Trays carry subassemblies, PCBs, machined parts, or components from station to station through assembly processes where consistent positioning and smooth conveyor movement are required.
♦ Automated and robotic handling systems -- Flat-bottom fiberglass trays provide the dimensional stability and consistent geometry that robotic pick points require. Plastic trays that warp or deform over time cause pick failures and line stoppages.
♦ Inspection and test stations -- Parts staged on flat fiberglass trays are consistently presented at vision systems, gauging stations, and test fixtures, reducing reject rates caused by inconsistent part positioning.
♦ Cleanroom production -- Smooth fiberglass surfaces resist particle generation and can be cleaned and sterilized to cleanroom standards. These trays are used in semiconductor, medical device, and pharmaceutical production lines where surface integrity matters.
♦ Coating, plating, and washing systems -- Fiberglass resists the chemicals, plating solutions, and cleaning agents used in surface treatment processes. Flat-bottom construction allows trays to travel through wash tunnels and drying systems without wobble.
