MFG Fiberglass Conductive Nest Only Containers ESD Safe Storage

MFG FIBRESTAT Conductive Nest Only Containers are ESD-safe fiberglass trays and bins built for electronics manufacturing, laboratory, and cleanroom environments where static discharge poses a risk to sensitive components. Conductive fiberglass construction dissipates electrostatic charge to ground, while providing the same strength, chemical resistance, and temperature performance as the standard MFG fiberglass nest-only line.

These containers nest compactly when empty, reducing storage and return freight space. When in use, they sit flat on shelves, carts, and workbenches without interlocking with adjacent containers, making individual access easy in high-activity environments.

Seventeen models are available in sizes from 6-1/8" to 28-7/8" long and depths from 2-1/8" to 14". All are rated from -60°F to 250°F. Prices are shown by manufacturer model number for straightforward competitor comparison.

FIBRESTAT Conductive vs. Standard Fiberglass Nest Only -- Choosing the Right Series:

Both series use glass-reinforced thermoset fiberglass construction with the same nesting design, temperature rating, chemical resistance, and smooth surface quality. The FIBRESTAT conductive series provides ESD dissipation via a conductive additive in the fiberglass, increasing the price compared to standard non-conductive containers.

If your application does not involve ESD-sensitive components, the standard MFG fiberglass nest-only series (38 models, wider size range) is available at a lower price. If ESD protection is required, the FIBRESTAT series is the correct selection. Verify your specific resistivity requirement against the MFG FIBRESTAT data sheet before ordering. Do not substitute standard fiberglass for ESD-sensitive applications.

Where FIBRESTAT Conductive Nest Only Containers Are Most Commonly Used:

♦ Electronics assembly and work-in-process -- Component staging, PCB handling, and sub-assembly transport, where all containers in the handling chain must be ESD-safe. The nesting design keeps empty containers compact in active production areas.
♦ Laboratory and instrument tray applications -- The small 920 series models are widely used as individual component trays, instrument staging trays, and for organizing precision parts in regulated lab environments where ESD control and chemical resistance are both required.
♦ Cleanroom component handling -- Smooth fiberglass surfaces minimize particle generation and can be cleaned to cleanroom standards, making them appropriate for semiconductor, aerospace, and medical device production environments.
♦ Incoming inspection and quality hold areas -- ESD-safe containers allow sensitive components to be staged, inspected, and held without risk of electrostatic discharge damage during inspection.
