Kadon Stainless Steel Large Part Wash Baskets

Kadon's large-part wash baskets are stainless-steel cleaning baskets for oversized components that do not fit the small-part basket footprint. All four models share the same inside dimensions (16.5" long x 10.5" wide x 10" high) and are built for industrial parts washers, spray cabinets, and ultrasonic cleaning systems where chemical resistance, drainage, and structural integrity under repeated use are required.

Four models are available across two wire patterns and two insert configurations. Prices are shown by manufacturer model number for straightforward competitor comparison.

Choosing the Right Wire Pattern:

♦ 3/16" x 5/8" slot perforated stainless -- 56% open area. A rectangular slot pattern provides good drainage while retaining parts with greater surface-area contact. Well suited for parts that need to be held securely during aggressive spray or agitation wash cycles.

♦ 3/16" round perforated at .219" staggered centers -- 66% open area. A higher open area provides maximum contact with the wash solution and faster drainage. Best when cleaning solution penetration and rinse-off speed are the priority, and parts are large enough not to pass through the perforations.

With Insert vs. Without Insert:

The insert function on the large-part basket is the same as on the small-part basket. With the insert in place, a compression lid secures contents at the top of the basket. Without the insert, a locking lid secures across the full basket opening. If you use standard non-locking lids or no lid, the without-insert model is appropriate and typically lower-cost.

Large vs. Small Part Wash Baskets:

The small part basket (sold separately) measures 9.5" x 6.5" x 5.5" inside. The large basket measures 16.5" x 10.5" x 10" inside. Both are available in the same wire patterns and insert configurations.
