The Hallowell 4713-12PL-AM MedSafe Antimicrobial Starter Shelving delivers wide-span storage with a finish designed for cleaner environments. It combines the configurable strength of Hallowell’s Hi-Tech shelving platform with the antimicrobial powder-coat protection found in the MedSafe line—making it a strong fit for schools, clinics, labs, nurses’ offices, athletic departments, and shared storage areas where infection control and moisture-related issues can be a concern.
Finished in 711 Platinum, the antimicrobial powder coat is intended to help protect coated surfaces against microbes such as bacteria, mold, and mildew, with manufacturer-stated performance lasting up to 20 years. Before coating, components go through a seven-stage zinc/iron phosphate cleaning process to inhibit corrosion. The antimicrobial powder is then sprayed and baked at 350°F for at least 20 minutes, creating a tough, durable finish built for daily use.
With 48" wide shelves, a space-saving 12" depth, and eight shelf levels, this unit maximizes storage density without taking up valuable floor space—ideal for organized supplies, cartons, and inventory bins. As a starter unit, it begins a shelving row; add-on units can extend the run as your needs grow.
