The Hallowell 4720-12 Hi-Tech 5-Shelf Stockroom Shelving (Closed Starter Unit) is a heavy-duty shelving solution built for busy storage areas that need strength, organization, and a more finished enclosed setup. With side and back panels included, this unit helps keep inventory contained. It creates a cleaner, more professional look—ideal for stockrooms, warehouses, maintenance areas, parts departments, and back-of-house storage.
Each shelf is engineered for real working loads with a tubular welded box beam (front and rear) for maximum strength and sag resistance. Hallowell’s exclusive triple-bend side flanges add rigidity across the shelf surface, while lapped and welded corners reinforce high-stress points for long service life. Shelves are punched to accept shelf dividers for better SKU separation and parts organization (dividers sold separately if applicable). Installation is quick—each shelf locks in using only four shelf clips. The system also supports multiple post configurations, including beaded front and angle-back posts, and is compatible with T-posts and H-posts when needed.
With a wider 48" span and space-saving 12" depth, this closed starter unit offers strong storage density without taking up unnecessary floor space.
