Bishamon BX Series Manual Scissor Lift Cart | Single and Double Scissor, 330 to 1,760 lb

The Bishamon BX Series MobiLift is a manual hydraulic scissor lift cart combining a foot-pump scissor lift mechanism with heavy-duty casters and a push bar for portable use throughout a facility. The platform raises and lowers via a built-in hydraulic pump and cylinder assembly. Casters allow the loaded cart to be repositioned between workstations, receiving areas, conveyors, or any other point in the facility without the need for a fixed lift table installation.

Seven models are available in two configurations: single-scissor (BX-15, BX-25, BX-50, BX-75) and double-scissor (BX-30S, BX-50S, BX-50W). Single-scissor models reach a maximum lift height of 28.8" to 39.3", depending on the model. Double-scissor models reach up to 62.1", suited for applications requiring greater vertical travel than a single-scissor mechanism can provide.

♦ BX-15, 17.7" W, 27.6" L platform. Lift range 8.4" to 28.8". Capacity 330 lbs. Single scissor. The smallest and lightest model in the lineup, suited for lighter loads in tight spaces.

♦ BX-25, 19.7" W, 32.0" L platform. Lift range 11.3" to 34.1". Capacity 660 lbs. Single scissor. Mid-size platform with greater capacity than the BX-15 and a taller maximum lift height.

♦ BX-50, 20.4" W, 39.8" L platform. Lift range 17.2" to 39.3". Capacity 1,100 lbs. Single scissor. Largest single-scissor platform in the lineup. Same platform size and travel range as the BX-75 at a lower capacity.

♦ BX-75, 20.4" W, 39.8" L platform. Lift range 17.2" to 39.3". Capacity 1,760 lbs. Single scissor. Highest capacity single-scissor model. Same platform size and travel range as the BX-50, at a greater capacity.

♦ BX-30S, 20.4" W, 39.8" L platform. Lift range 17" to 62.1". Capacity 660 lbs. Double scissor. Provides the extended 62.1" maximum lift height of the double-scissor mechanism at 660 lb capacity. Same platform size and travel as the BX-50W at a lower capacity.

♦ BX-50S, 18.1" W, 25.6" L platform. Lift range 16.5" to 39.5". Capacity 1,100 lbs. Double scissor. Compact double-scissor platform for applications where a smaller footprint is needed at higher capacity.

♦ BX-50W, 20.4" W, 39.8" L platform. Lift range 17" to 62.1". Capacity 1,100 lbs. Double scissor. Highest capacity double-scissor model with the full 62.1" maximum lift height. Same platform size and travel as the BX-30S at a greater capacity.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Single vs. double scissor, choose a single-scissor model (BX-15 through BX-75) when a maximum lift height of 28" to 39" is sufficient for the application. Choose a double-scissor model (BX-30S, BX-50S, BX-50W) when a maximum lift height of up to 62.1" is needed, such as for transferring loads to elevated conveyors, high benches, or upper pallet positions.

♦ Capacity: The BX-15 handles up to 330 lbs for lighter loads. The BX-25 and BX-30S handle 660 lbs. The BX-50, BX-50S, and BX-50W handle 1,100 lbs. The BX-75 handles 1,760 lbs -- the highest in the series. Select a model with a rated capacity comfortably above the actual load weight.

♦ Platform size, the BX-15 has the smallest platform (17.7" x 27.6"). The BX-50S has a compact double-scissor footprint (18.1" x 25.6"). Most other models share a 20.4" x 39.8" platform. Match the platform size to the load footprint. The load should fit within the platform area without overhanging.

♦ Minimum lift height (lowered position), the BX-15 lowers to 8.4", the closest to floor level in the lineup, which is useful for loading from floor-level pallets or ground-level sources. Other models lower to 11.3" to 17.2". Verify the lowered height is low enough to slide under or receive the load source before ordering.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Warehouse Receiving and Pallet Transfer, warehouse receiving areas use the BX Series to transfer inbound freight from floor-level pallets or carts to conveyor height or bench height without a fixed lift table, allowing one operator to handle the lift and reposition the cart as the workflow changes.

♦ Assembly and Production Line Ergonomics: assembly lines use BX Series carts to deliver parts and subassemblies to the exact working height at the operator position, reducing bending and reaching during repetitive assembly tasks and when repositioning the load as the operator moves through the work sequence.

♦ Maintenance and Heavy Part Handling: maintenance departments use the higher-capacity BX-50 and BX-75 to transport and position heavy motors, gearboxes, and assemblies to the required installation height, reducing the manual lifting burden on technicians working at varying machine heights.

♦ Multi-Station Workflows, operations where the same load needs to be lifted at multiple points in the facility, receiving, staging, assembly, inspection, and shipping, use the BX Series to eliminate dedicated fixed lifts at each station, replacing multiple fixed installations with a single mobile platform.
