Presto-Lift P4 Floor Level Scissor Lift Tables

Presto-Lift P4 Floor Level Scissors Lift Table
The Presto-Lift P4 is a floor-level scissor lift table engineered specifically for manual palletizing and de-palletizing operations. Like the XZ floor level table, it uses a pan-style platform that lowers to 3/8" from the floor for direct hand pallet truck loading without a ramp. The P4 differs from the XZ in its raised height and side panel design. The P4 raises to 28" lower than the XZ's 35-3/8" which is intentional: in palletizing, a lower raised height keeps the top layers of the pallet closer to the operator for a longer portion of the build cycle, reducing reach. The side panels are also designed to be extremely narrow, reducing the reach-over distance from all four sides of the load.
Four models cover two platform widths and two capacity tiers. Prices are shown by manufacturer model number for direct competitor comparison.
Choosing the Right P4 Model:
All four models share the same 48" long platform and 3/8" to 28" travel range. Platform width and capacity are the two selection criteria.
♦ P4-25-4448: 44" x 48" platform, 2,500 lb capacity. Standard width for GMA pallets with moderate side clearance.
♦ P4-25-5248: 52" x 48" platform, 2,500 lb capacity. Wider platform for operators who need more lateral reach clearance or to handle wider loads at 2,500 lbs.
♦ P4-40-4448: 44" x 48" platform, 4,000 lb capacity. Standard width for heavier pallet loads.
♦ P4-40-5248: 52" x 48" platform, 4,000 lb capacity. The widest, heaviest-duty model in the P4 series.
Select capacity based on your heaviest expected load. Select platform width based on load footprint and how much clearance your operators need to work around the load from all sides.

Where Presto-Lift P4 Tables Are Commonly Used:
♦ Manual palletizing and pallet building: The floor-level loading and 28" raised height combination keep the current layer of a pallet within comfortable reach throughout the build cycle, without operators needing to step up or lean far over the load.
♦ De-palletizing and case picking: Raising an inbound pallet to the right height and keeping layers within reach reduces the reach cycle per pick, improving speed and reducing strain over a full shift.
♦ Facilities without forklifts: The 3/8" lowered height allows a hand pallet truck to load the table independently, making the P4 fully operator-driven without requiring a separate forklift or stacker.
♦ Packaging and order fulfillment: Loading full pallet quantities of cases or products to working height for manual packing, labeling, or kitting operations where the operator works around all four sides of the load.
