Manual Pallet Trucks and Pallet Jacks
Manual Pallet Trucks and Pallet Jacks, Durable, Easy-to-Use Load Movers for Warehouses, Retail & Shipping
Manual pallet trucks, also called pallet jacks, are the standard tool for moving palletized loads across warehouse floors, loading docks, retail stockrooms, and production staging areas without powered equipment. They are easy to train on, require minimal maintenance, and keep operating costs low while providing reliable transport for a wide range of daily material-handling tasks in most facilities.
Product Lines:
Logitrans Panther pallet trucks (Silent, 4,400 lb, and standard, 3,300-6,600 lb) and LogiQ Quarter Pallet Lifters (440-660 lb); Lift Products Maxx-Jack (5,500 lb); Bishamon pallet trucks (2,500-6,000 lb, fully rebuildable); and a wide Wesco lineup at 5,500-6,600 lb, including standard, foot pump, lowboy, CPII, long fork, and adjustable fork configurations, plus hand brake models and pallet jack stops.
Selecting the Right Type:
♦ Capacity, ranging from 440 up to 6,600 lb across these lines; select based on the heaviest load handled regularly.
♦ Fork configuration: choose Lowboy for low-clearance pallets, Long Pallet Trucks for oversized or dual-pallet loads, or Adjustable Fork models when pallet sizes vary.
♦ Braking and safety: add a Hand Brake model for controlled descent on inclines, or Pallet Jack Stops to prevent unintended movement.
Where Commonly Used:
Manual pallet trucks are used on warehouse floors and loading docks for everyday palletized load transport, in retail stockrooms and display merchandising where quarter pallet lifters handle smaller loads, in noise-sensitive environments where the Panther Silent truck reduces operating noise, and in facilities handling mixed pallet sizes or low-clearance loads where adjustable fork and lowboy configurations fit the job.

Buying Guide
Manual pallet trucks are the default for good reason: cheap and reliable, but hard on the operator over distance. Our Mobile Lift Equipment & Stackers guide covers when it's worth stepping up to a fully powered pallet truck and how a scale pallet truck can remove a separate weighing step from your process. |
