Presto-Lifts XBP and WBP Series Battery Powered Scissor Lift Carts | 24" or 36" Wide, Up to 2,000 lb

The Presto-Lifts XBP and WBP Series are the battery-powered counterparts to the manual XP and WXP Series scissor lift carts. Electric push-button controls replace the foot-operated hydraulic pump for smooth, consistent lifting without physical pumping effort. These are industrial-grade, high-capacity lift carts suited to demanding environments where heavy loads must be repeatedly transported and positioned throughout the day.

Two series are available: the XBP Series with a 24" wide platform and the WBP Series with a 36" wide platform. Two platform lengths (36" and 48") and three capacity tiers (1,000, 1,500, and 2,000 lb) are available in the XBP Series. The WBP Series offers only 1,000- and 1,500-lb options; no 2,000-lb WBP model is available. All models lower to approximately 9-1/4", except the 2,000-lb XBP models, which lower to 17-1/2". 

Selection Guide:

♦ Series, XBP (24" wide) vs. WBP (36" wide), the XBP platform is 24" wide and is available in 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000 lb capacities. The WBP platform is 36" wide for wider load support and is available in 1,000 and 1,500 lb only. The 2,000 lb capacity is exclusive to the XBP Series.

♦ Platform length, 36" or 48", the 36" length (XBP24 and WBP24 series) provides a standard platform for most load footprints. The 48" length (XBP36 and WBP36 series) provides a longer platform for extended loads and also achieves the higher maximum lift heights in the lineup (45" to 45-1/4" vs. 33" to 33-1/4" for the 36" platform models).

♦ Capacity tier, 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 lb, the 1,000 and 1,500 lb models share the same platform size and lift range (9-1/4" minimum). The 2,000 lb XBP models (XBP24-20 and XBP36-20) have a higher minimum lowered height (17-1/2") and a significantly higher price. Verify that the 17-1/2" lowered height is compatible with the load source before ordering a 2,000 lb model.

♦ Maximum lift height, XBP24 and WBP24 models (36" platform length) reach 33" to 33-1/4" maximum, except the XBP24-20, which reaches 41-1/2". The XBP36 and WBP36 models (48" platform length) reach 45" to 45-1/4". Choose the 48" platform length when a maximum above 33" is required.

♦ Battery-powered vs. manual Presto, the XBP Series directly mirrors the manual XP Series in platform size and capacity. Choose battery-powered for high-frequency lifting, heavier loads approaching 2,000 lb, or when manual foot pumping would limit throughput or cause fatigue across multi-shift operations.

♦ Price consideration for 2,000 lb models, the XBP24-20 ($11,336) and XBP36-20 ($10,648) are priced approximately double the 1,500 lb models. Confirm that the 2,000 lb capacity is genuinely required before ordering the 1,500 lb models, which provide substantial capacity at significantly lower cost.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Heavy Manufacturing Assembly and Positioning, assembly operations handling loads approaching or at 2,000 lbs use the XBP24-20 or XBP36-20 for electric-powered lifting at the top of the Presto battery-powered cart range, where the physical effort of manual foot pumping at that weight would significantly limit throughput and operator performance.

♦ Industrial Receiving and Staging with Heavy Freight, warehouse receiving and staging operations handling heavy inbound freight at or near 2,000 lbs, use the XBP models for ergonomic powered positioning of heavy loads between floor level and staging height.

♦ Die, and Tooling Handling in Production, stamping, molding, and fabrication operations using the higher-capacity XBP models to transport and position dies, fixtures, and tooling at machine or press height, where electric-powered lifting provides precise height control without manual effort.

♦ Wide Load Assembly and Inspection, assembly and inspection applications where the load's width exceeds the XBP platform width use the WBP Series (36" wide) for stable, wide-base support of wide assemblies, panels, and components at the work position.
