Presto Lifts B800 Series Battery Powered Industrial Stackers

Presto Lifts B800 Series Battery Powered Stacker

Presto Lifts B800 Series Battery Powered Industrial Stackers | Fixed and Telescopic Mast, 1,500–2,000 lb

The Presto Lifts B800 Series Battery-Powered Industrial Stackers provide medium-duty electric pallet stacking in facilities where tight aisle maneuverability, consistent lift performance, and reliability during daily high-cycle use are priorities. An 85" turning radius with a 40" load (87" for the BT telescopic mast series) and 12" of operator clearance provides practical advantages in congested staging areas and narrow aisles. Lift speed is 5 inches per second across all models.

Standard features include a hand-operated floor lock, a flow control valve for smooth, controlled lowering, dual leaf-type chains, floor-saving phenolic load wheels, and a 12-volt battery with a custom microprocessor charger for reliable charge management.

Twelve models cover two sub-series: the fixed-mast B8 series (narrower, 32" width, 62"–86" raised height) and the telescopic-mast BT8 series (38" width, 94"–127" raised height). Both capacity tiers (1,500 lb and 2,000 lb) are available across all heights.

Selection Guide:

♦ Fixed mast (B8 series) vs. telescopic mast (BT8 series), the B8 fixed mast models (B862, B874, B886) are 32" wide and reach 62", 74", or 86". Their compact 32" width is the narrowest in the B800 lineup, suited for tight aisles where minimizing equipment width is important. The BT8 telescopic mast models (BT894, BT8107, BT8127) are 38" wide and reach 94", 107", or 127", suited for high-bay racking above 86". Choose a fixed mast for lower-height applications and narrower aisle requirements; choose a telescopic mast when rack heights require a 94" to 127" lift.

♦ Capacity: 1,500 lb or 2,000 lb; both capacity tiers are available across all fixed and telescopic mast models. Select based on the maximum expected load weight. The model number suffix indicates the capacity (-1500 or -2000).

♦ Raised height: the number embedded in the model name indicates the maximum raised height: 62", 74", 86" for fixed mast; 94", 107", 127" for telescopic mast. Select the model whose maximum raised height meets or exceeds the highest rack position or stacking height needed.

♦ Lowered height, the B8 fixed mast 1,500 lb models lower to 2", nearly flat to the floor. The 2,000 lb models and all BT8 telescopic mast models lower to 2-1/2". For applications loading from floor-level pallets, the 2" lowered height of the B8-1500 series is noteworthy.

♦ Width consideration: the B8 fixed mast models at 32" are narrower than the BT8 telescopic models at 38". In facilities where aisle width is tight, the 6" difference in unit width may determine which series is operable in the available space.

♦ Turning radius, the fixed mast B8 series turns in 85" with a 40" load; the BT8 telescopic series turns in 87". Both are designed for narrow aisle operation.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Warehouse Pallet Rack Loading at 62" to 86" with Fixed Mast, warehouse operations loading 1,500 to 2,000 lb pallets into rack positions at 62" to 86" use the B8 fixed mast models for battery-powered electric lift in narrow aisles where the 32" unit width provides a clearance advantage over wider stackers.

♦ High-Bay Rack Loading at 94" to 127" with Telescopic Mast, facilities servicing high-bay racking at 94", 107", or 127" use the BT8 telescopic mast models for the extended reach needed to place pallets at the highest rack positions in the facility, where fixed mast stackers cannot reach.

♦ Distribution Center High-Cycle Pallet Staging: Distribution center operations cycling pallet loads between receiving, staging, and outbound areas throughout multi-shift operations use the B800 Series for consistent battery-powered performance under high-cycle daily use, with the microprocessor charger keeping the battery optimally managed between shifts.

♦ Production Floor Narrow Aisle Pallet Handling, production facilities with tight aisle layouts between work cells and staging areas use the B8 fixed mast series (32" wide) for maneuvering in aisles where wider stackers or forklifts would not clear available space.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Presto Lifts B series battery powered industrial stacker designed to do?
This stacker is built for medium-duty pallet handling in facilities that need dependable lifting and positioning without the noise and exhaust of internal combustion equipment. It helps operators move and place palletized loads with controlled vertical travel and smooth maneuvering. The battery-powered design supports indoor workflows where air quality and clean operation matter. It is a practical fit for stockrooms, production areas, and shipping zones that handle pallets all day.
How does a battery powered stacker improve daily material handling efficiency?
Battery power keeps operations simple with quick start, consistent performance, and fewer routine interruptions than fuel-powered alternatives. The drive and lift functions make it easier to stage pallets, feed work cells, and replenish pick locations with less physical strain. Because it is designed for precise control, operators can align loads more accurately at racks, conveyors, and worktables. The result is smoother throughput and fewer minor delays that add up over a shift.
Why is tight-aisle maneuverability important, and what does this stacker offer?
In many warehouses, aisle space is limited, and every turn counts. A tight turning radius helps operators pivot, position, and back out cleanly without repeated corrections. That means less time spent jockeying for alignment and less risk of bumping racks, pallets, or product. If your layout prioritizes storage density or has frequent direction changes, maneuverability becomes a real productivity advantage.
What kinds of applications are a good match for a medium-duty industrial stacker?
Medium-duty handling is ideal when you regularly move pallet loads but do not need the footprint or complexity of larger lift trucks for every task. Common uses include dock staging, replenishment, line feeding, and transferring pallets between work areas. It also works well for facilities that need reliable lift performance for routine cycles rather than occasional heavy peak lifts. If your team is moving pallets throughout the day and needs consistent, controlled lifting, this category is often the sweet spot.
What safety and operator-friendly features should you look for in a stacker like this?
Look for predictable lift and travel control that helps the operator make small adjustments without sudden movement. Stable load handling, clear sightlines, and a confidence-inspiring braking and steering feel all contribute to safer operation in busy areas. Ergonomics matter too because comfortable controls reduce fatigue and help operators stay attentive. A well-designed stacker supports consistent behavior, which is one of the best safety tools in any warehouse.
